> We had a great experience with Kelvin and Susan Pierce and their team.  We've never done a big renovation before and were pretty nervous about it.  They took down our kitchen walls and moved the kitchen to the dining room area to create an open concept kitchen/dining/living room, converted our fireplace to gas, built a deck off the living room, and updated our hall bath.  The project came in on time (9 wks) and very close to on budget (we had a couple "add-ons" that put us a little over).  Our project manager, Dave, was phenomenal - very patient with our many questions - and a true craftsman.   We've been back in the house for 6 weeks now and are still pinching ourselves...it's beautiful, functional, and exactly what we hoped for...a dream come true.

**Q: Love this floor!** *(in Photo Questions)*

This wood flooring is perfect! Is it wood or manufactured wood? What is the manufacturer & name so I can source it? Thank you so much!

A: This is 2 1/4" red oak, sanded and finished in place.  The stain is a custom blend of two stains, one of which was red mahogany, and the other was a dark brown.   I'm sorry we don't remember exactly which color the dark brown was.  This project was completed in 2014.

A: It's an eye-catcher!   But we don't have info on who painted it.  Hope you can find one that suits you.

A: This is 1/8" diameter cable.

What is the size of the columns and what are they made of please

A: These are composite columns and the base is approximately 16 inches square.
