Broken skateboards are an unfortunate  byproduct of skateboarding which usually end up in landfills. At Deckstool, we salvage busted boards and turn them into high-quality furniture, home decor and gifts. Our products are inspired by a passion for skateboarding, modern design, and recycling.

Our designs are based of how skateboards break during use. The forms are derived from the gentle curves of the molded maple plywood skateboards and the surfaces showcase the beauty of the scraped and scarred graphics. All Deckstool products are one-of-a-kind. We use modern manufacturing techniques to create precision parts and skilled skater/craftsman to finish and assemble them with an artist’s touch.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Can you use to display skateboards/longboards?** *(in Product Questions)*

I'm looking to display my longboard and thought these might work. Not sure if they are sturdy enough...

A: Hi Laura,

Although they are sturdy enough to hold the weight of a longboard or skateboard, our hooks are not actually designed for hanging skateboards. Our SkateHooks are typically intended for use as helmet, or coat, or bag, or towel hooks.

A: Hi Kenna,
Thank you! They are attached to the wall using two screws mounted in the wall that match up with two eye hooks on the rear of the hook. 
All screws and anchors needed are included. As well as the simple installation instructions and a template for properly locating the screws on the wall.

**Q: Do you have benches from which to choose?** *(in Product Questions)*

Hi, 
I love your work and am wondering if I would be able to choose from a variety of benches already made?   I ask only because I notice in the photos online, the colors vary quite a bit and I'll need it to match the rest of the room.  Please advise.  Also, is there any chance you could make the bench in between the two sizes you offer?  Thanks!!

Whatever form of communication works best for you, is good for me. We can complete the transaction through the Houzz site, but for sending images back and forth, email is always reliable for me.

Do you overnight? I want it for Christmas.

A: Yes. We can ship tomorrow (saturday) via USPS Priority mail and be most places in (2-3) business days typically. Please order ASAP because Post Office Pick up is early on Saturday.  Thanks!!

**Q: What type of weight do these coat hooks hold? Would it hold a backpack** *(in Product Questions)*

Kids need a coat hook for a couple of jackets at a time and school backpack which usually has large binders and laptop...We are looking for something that can hold a good amount of weight...
