I would like to add ... bring your artwork lower on the wall - if it's in your line of vision when you are IN BED, it will feel more intimate. **Q: Need help with colors in a rustic kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)* Would black cabinets look ok with black appliances in a small kitchen? Also wondering if the combination of black bottom cabinets and buttercream cabinets on top would look good. A: Either combination will work - full black cabinets will be dramatic - you'll want a crisp clean colour on the walls and for the counter. If you work with buttercream uppers it will likely help the small space feel a little larger - bridge the black and buttercream with a counter that has flecks in it to help the eye make the leap to black. **Q: I need help with an idea for something tall in a corner** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi! I have a great room with 11 foot ceilings and I need an idea for to do with treesin a corner beside a fake tree. I have real hard wood floors with large tall windows and transitional style. If I use a tall floor vase it can't be made of anything breakable.
