  - Description: The client, Chi, grew up in this room. She moved out for college, and when she came back, the room seemed to need a facelift more than ever. The dingy paint with the poor lighting made the room unbearably drab. The lack of storage made it impossible to maintain a tidy space. Fortunately, her room had great bones with plenty of wall space and nice hardwood floors. After a couple weeks of careful planning and with a little help from Chi, and I re-vamped this room in 2 days.

**Q: Is the barn door homemade? How did you construct the barn door?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Is the barn door hardware homemade?
How did you construct the barn door?

A: The barn door is rolling on garage door wheels attached with bolts to various pieces of metal that we got from the hardware store. yes, the barn door is homemade as well. It's made out of tongue and groove planks with a Z brace on the back.

**Q: Re window covering, is it a roller shade? How was the text applied?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I manually cut the text out of contact paper (it only took about 4 hours) and stuck it on a vinyl roller shade from Home Depot. It works great, none of the letters have ever fallen off.
