No, none of our products can be applied over latex. The latex paint would have to be removed first. **Q: Using a five gallon bucket, how much sq.ft can be stained?** *(in Product Questions)* Doing some renovations at my own home. A: If the seal only lasted one year and has a chalky look, this is an immediate indicator that the sealer was applied too heavy or you have too many coats of a previous sealer causing the coating to become non-breathable. Simple fix: Do not apply any more sealer. Instead purchase Xylene (solvent) from you local hardware store/paint store and roll the Xylene on the surface (only in the evening 6:30pm+). This will re-emulsify the acrylic on the surface turning it back into a liquid state, allowing it to resettle and look like brand new! **Q: Exterior Paint (trim)** *(in Design Dilemma)* Hi!
