We are taking a 1980s mundane box into the 21st century, with nods to Craftsman architecture.  Sherine keeps us on time and on budget, directing me to quality features but at the same time, understanding that all of us have limits.  All the subs so far have been superb. We will have no remodel horror stories, thankfully!

**Q: Specifications** *(in Photo Questions)*

What are the cabinet dimensions for those above the washer/dryer and are those standard or custom?  Tnk U

A: Those are custom built cabinets designed to the specs of the washer and dryer. They have a false back so they are not as deep as the washer and dryer because they would have been too deep otherwise.

Gorgeous! Can you please tell me the type and style of the countertop, island top and backsplash?
Thank you!

A: Thank you.  The island and countertops are a Calacatta Marble slab with a square edge detail.  The backsplash is a split face Calacatta Marble that was purchased from a tile shop in 12x12 tiles and interlocked together.

A: These doors are from Sierra Pacific in Rancho Cordova, CA

Who is the floor manufacture, please?

A: The floors are French Connection by Garrison although they are no longer available. DuChateau has some very similar floors as the one in this home.

**Q: Cabinets!** *(in Photo Questions)*

The kitchen is beautiful! (And really the whole project) Who makes the cabinets and what wood/stain are they?

A: Thank you very much.  Unfortunately I cannot recommend the company who built these cabinets.  They did beautiful work but were way behind schedule and never completed their job at the end.  The stain was a custom blend where we mixed stains on site to create a brown with a gray undertone.
