They created a custom wainscoting in our entry, up the stairs and throughout upstairs hallway that added a really nice finished look. They also replaced all baseboards, doors, added a closet and custom window seat/bench, demoed several walls, added new shelving in existing closets and mounted a TV and barn door. Everything that they did was very high quality, matching the old charm and existing craftmanship already in the house and we couldn't be happier with the results. I have a small engineering business, so I have high – but reasonable – standards. Until I found Malte Build, I had not worked with a contractor in this area that I would feel comfortable recommending. Everything about the experience met or surpassed our expectations. For this project, we renovated the kitchen, an adjacent family room, and a powder room. Malte’s pricing was right in the middle of four quotes. More importantly, he executed the work exactly as proposed, scheduled, and priced – no delays, no overruns, and no misunderstandings. That shows he carefully listened and fully planned the details of our complex little project. Another big reason he delivered so effectively was that Malte, himself, was at the jobsite supervising and working alongside his team most of the time throughout the project.
