> We needed an experienced and talented designer to tackle the remodeling of our kitchen, laundry, kids' and master baths, as well as the addition of a porch.  Alone, the project would have been overwhelming.  With Elizabeth's experience and warm personality, we enjoyed the process and can now see that all of our comments and expectations were incorporated in the design and execution.

> Elizabeth provided custom-made drawings and floor plans for each room.  She assisted with the selection and sourcing of appliances, plumbing and lighting fixtures.  In addition, Elizabeth brings a vast source of professionals, such as carpenters, cabinet makers, tilers, painters and counter top fabricators, that she recommends.  Our custom kitchen, made of reconstituted Zebra Wood, is the only one in Fort Wayne!  The kitchen, bathroom vanity and uppers, as well as furniture and built-ins were all locally custom made.

> We bought our eighty year old house sixteen years ago and knew we would need to address the original galley kitchen at some point.  After some failed attempts on our own and conflicting advice from independent contractors we decided we needed professional help from someone with experience and skill.  That's Elizabeth.  We needed additional space and she brought in a contractor whose specialty is remodeling and putting additions on older homes.  We needed help and advice navigating the almost endless materials and design options and she provided that along with helpful suggestions of her own.  I stress "helpful".  At no time were we told what to do.  Elizabeth used her expertise to help provide us with what we wanted along with the seemingly impossible task of helping us determine just what it was that we really did want.  Above all else: she knows how to listen.  Her design reflects what we expressed -- not a preconceived plan with some tweaks to fit our house.  This is our kitchen and we love working in it.  I appreciate her thoughtful design, Wright Brothers Construction's execution of that design and Louis Delagrange's beautiful cabinetry every time I enter the room. > Lisa is always professional and courteous. She enjoys learning about each customer's preferences and includes them in her design plan.  She can oversee a large project well and help to include custom pieces in every room to give a more personal feel to the remodel. ## Community Q&A

**Q: Love the wall tile.  Can you tell me what color and  the company?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like the tile on the wall.  What is it? color?

A: That tile came from Eagle Tile in Fort Wayne.  It was a glass and metal random strip \#GTS-Al3500.  The project was done in July of '15.  Perhaps they could look it up for you.  It's even better looking in person!

**Q: Kitchen remodel** *(in Design Dilemma)*

What is the recommended/required distance between the stove top and the bottom of a microwave/fan installation?

A: Depends on the brand/model of over the range microwave you select.  Go to the web site of the brand you like (for example - Whirlpool), find the  model and look at the installation guide.  Inside the installation guide there is usually a drawing showing the recommended height for microwave placement.
