> It’s hard to imagine what exactly something is going to look like from a computer or on paper but, We are beyond words at how our pool and outdoor living space has turned out! Still can’t believe it’s ours!! We were amazed at the quality work that they did and the contractors for all the jobs. Also loving the app on our phones to operate and manage the pool.  We would highly recommend Medallion Pools for anyone building a pool. Can’t wait for the warmer weather!!

> Technician created service problem, company will not stand behind the work. We used Medallion to build our pool, which turned out amazing. The issue has arose with the weekly service of the pool in the past year since it was built. When the pool was built, we were told very firmly that if we chose to balance chemistry or if we use another company to balance it, Medallion would not be responsible for issues that arise from improper mgmt of chems, specifically the issue of scale in the pool. As a result, we decided it best to hire Medallion to do the weekly service. Our first two technicians did a great job and we had many months of no issues. Since then, they have assigned a new technician and since then, the service has gone down hill. A couple of weeks ago, I noticed some white stuff in the pool (flakes) and immediately brought it to their attention. On the next visit, they determine there is some scale starting to form. At that time, I asked them to send our old technician as he did the best job and had experience with our pool. They did that and they stated that their started a treatment, which to me is an acknowledgment that there is in fact an issue. It has gotten worse and I have updated them so they could continue or change the course of action. Today I sent an email to Wayne, the owner about a general lack of satisfaction in our weekly service. We believe the prior two techs did a great job and this tech either doesn't know what he is doing, or is reporting improper info to Wayne. Either way, we have now seen a beautiful pool start going downhill. Upon a few heated emails and then a phone conversation, Wayne tells me that scaling is not his responsibility and that there will be additional costs to correct it. Excuse me....but scaling happens from a lack of proper chem mgmt first and foremost. This was made clear to me by Wayne over a year ago when they built the pool. Now that an issue has risen that I have been paying for them to weekly manage (at a higher rate than any competition) he tells me that its due to outside factors, not anything that they have (or have not) done. He notes that my service records indicate no abnormality. I say if he (Wayne was being given the truth by the tech), the records would indicate an issue somewhere. My pool had flakes in it on the service date of 7/05 and were still there after the tech was here, indicating he didn't even clean the spa. They came out on 7/12 and although they did clean the majority of the flakes, NO issue was noted in the service logs. I asked them to come out on 7/14 and scale was firmly identified and I was told by email that a chemical to combat it was put in the pool. After the conversations with Wayne today, his resolution is that they stop servicing our account...aka take zero responsibility for the fact that for over a year, I have been paying THEM to maintain the chemicals and clean the pool. Now that there is an issue, I am told its not something they manage and that is is caused by outside sources. My thought is that it is a chemistry issue, which if they were truly monitoring and adjusting for it would not have happened to begin with. I believe Medallion has some good technicians, however, i also believe that the technician currently assigned to my pool appears to lack experience or knowledge as we have not had any other issues with the other 2 technicians that serviced my pool prior.

> Tremendous experience with Medallion Pools.  We like them so much, we kept doing more business with them.  Wayne was one of several companies to quote our pool remodel.  It was a big job that involved demolishing faux rock accents/waterfalls and replacing with real rock...including rebuilding two rock waterfalls on our pool.  They also resurfaced our pool and spa.  The owner, Wayne, came out and gave us a quote and they were able to get us started shortly after we decided to move forward with them.  Communication was great throughout and the crew did quality work, cleaned up and remodeled the pool as promised.
