> Mark has such a great reputation of building custom homes and remodels that I arranged for him to come to Kauai to head up the remodel of my kitchen. Mark had some amazing ideas for my kitchen that went along with the modern cabinets and granite but we were able to reuse and tie in some of the existing charm and components of our home. A couple being....our old entry door was a hand built mahogany piece with a porthole as a window. Mark had the great idea of using that for our panty door. That added a real nice touch to our kitchen. We had some reclaimed old growth fir flooring that we wanted to do something with. Mark had the great idea of capping our soffit with it to look like an old thick gluelam. With his fine wood working skills we were able to attach it without any face nailing which was a real nice touch.
