At the advanced age of 14 I began working for my father's land development company as a way to occupy my idle, mischievous hands. It was like a Huckleberry Finn
adventure, and never felt like a chore. I began working for house builders during my
time away from school, and as I moved through my education became enthralled with
the science of buildings and how they function as a collection of complimentary
systems. While finishing my Master's Degree in Architecture and beginning to practice in the profession, I have never lost my desire to be close to the construction site. I still love the smell of freshly poured concrete, and watching a thoughtfully composed design become part of our built environment. We are looking forward to the future, with a focus on sustainable residential home design and construction, working with informed, considerate clients who value what fDesign.us can bring to their project. .
