Amy Lind Interiors offers full-service residential interior design in Savannah, Georgia and beyond. We enjoy projects big and small, from a budget-friendly, e-designed room refresh, to a fully-designed, fully-furnished new build. Our turnkey approach allows us to take care of all aspects of interior design and focus on what we do best, saving our clients their valuable time and helping them to avoid costly mistakes that are easily made without the guidance of an interior designer. We bring our expertise to the multitude of important decisions that must be made when designing a space, plus we aid with additional tasks, from setting budgets, to sourcing and procuring furniture, accessories, and lighting, to selecting materials, finishes, and paint colors, to space planning and drafting design plans, to coordinating the final installation of furnishings, including window treatments and art. In an attempt to ensure every design detail is accounted for and executed accurately, we work closely with contractors and tradespeople to help manage projects from beginning to end.

Our often colorful, eclectic aesthetic merges vintage with modern in a fun, fresh way. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our clients and translate their style into spaces that are beautiful, comfortable, and functional. Condé Nast Traveler selected a rental property that we fully furnished and updated on a major budget as one of “20 Best Airbnbs for Family Vacations.” Our design sensibilities are informed by all the places Amy Lind has had the pleasure of traveling – from Morocco, to Portugal, to Italy, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Australia, and places between. She has lived in a variety of locations across the country, including Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Savannah, which have all played a part in influencing her eclectic aesthetic.

**Q: does the ceiling height require exception to building codes?** *(in Photo Questions)*

My attic is similar in height and unfinished and I've heard that building codes may restrict finishing due to ceiling height. With this excellent example of design and finish, were exceptions required to local building codes?

A: Thank you for the kind words about the design of this space. In this bathroom, the ceiling height did meet the minimum required for code at the shortest points, and it's actually over 8 feet at the tallest point! You would need to check with your own city/architect to determine what is needed for your area. Best of luck!

What did you use for the finish on the butcher block? I’m afraid to use oil based where I’d be folding clothes. Thanks!

A: @nancy I don't remember for sure, but I think it was water-based!

**Q: tile in laundry room** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you share what color and info for the tile used on the wall in the laundry room

A: Hi there! The wall tile is 6" x 6" sea foam green (light green-blue) with a handmade-looking, organic, wavy texture to it, but it is actually a more affordable mass-produced porcelain tile. It was purchased from Elit Tile in Los Angeles. I can't find it on their website, but our sales order calls it "AG Palisades." Hope that helps!

I would sure love to know where you found that laundry hanging gold bar… It’s perfect and I only seem to find silver ones. Thanks in advance for helping :-)

**Q: Floor Tile** *(in Photo Questions)*

Stunning bathroom.  Question -- is the small hex tile on the shower floor and threshold as well?  Its hard to tell but the look is great.

A: Thank you! The top of the shower curb is marble. There is a reflection of the floor hex tile on the shower glass, so it does look like it's also on the curb! Hope that helps. ;)
