Our mission is to make PLACE, create special environments that speak to people. In 1981, I visited Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Ark., for the first time, and I experienced the enormous power that designed environments have on well being. The visit inspired me to complete my apprenticeship with E. Fay Jones, Thorncrown's architect. Since then, I have spent my career studying sustainable urbanism and the intangible qualities of grouping buildings in  ways that enhance the public realm. We strive to combine the art of creating place with sustainability while creating designs that enhance the human experience and lift the human spirit.

A: I don't Know it was selected by Mike's Designs a kitchen design consultant in Biltmore park Asheville NC.

A: the builder is copperwood construction in Black Mountain NC they might have a record for the color

Is this in Portland, OR? If so, how often does the architect do work out here? We're in Tigard and trying to figure our what to do with our 16' wide by 21' long deck area.

A: I am in Portland and I have assembled a team of designers,architects, and craftspeople that specialize in designing and building  what we call specialty buildings. This porch is in Asheville but is heavily influenced by the northwest region.  Please feel free to contact me I would love to come out and look at your project and talk ideas with you.
