> My wife and I own a home built in the 1930's where the kitchen and bath really needed to be updated. We wanted modern convenience, but wanted to retain the period look and feel of the house. Also, we knew the walls hadn't been opened in 80 years, and that there might be a few surprises along the way. We chose Irons Brothers based on recommendations from friends who had used them. They did not disappoint. They matched us with a designer who had the prefect vision for our home, and who listened to our ideas. Once work began, we felt like a priority all the way through. When things didn't go exactly as planned, they were very attentive to us and always made it work. You get what you pay for with this company, and our budget and our dream remodel didn't always meet. Irons Brothers worked really hard to make it work on that end as well, while still maintaining high quality in all aspects of the job. You can find cheaper companies, but the value and service this company provides can't be matched.

> Irons Bros. did a complete kitchen and half-bath remodel. From the design, which retained the feel of a 1905 home, to the execution, which was top-notch, I couldn't be more pleased. Communication at every step of the process was thorough, particularly appreciating the day-by-day timeline, with the schedule sliding only a week in a 3.5-month long process. My ideas were incorporated and enhanced. The workmanship was excellent, with the inevitable problems quickly attended to. The crew minimized the impact of such a large project to the extent possible, and were responsive and helpful. The project was on budget. Irons Bros. is a great team to work with, and I can't recommend them highly enough.

> Irons Brothers remodeled our kitchen. They finished ON TIME and slightly BELOW budget. However, these few words don't begin to capture how great it was to work with them.
>
> We had heard so many horror stories of contractors who said they would take a couple weeks and ended up taking months or they estimated a cost and came in way over budget. We knew we did not want that.
>
> We met Joseph and Melissa Irons because their kids go to the same school as ours and I had encountered them through school activities. We didn't have much of a clue what we wanted beyond something open and way better than what we had. They recommended Terence at Luna Kitchen and Bath. He designed an idea and helped us through choosing cabinets, light fixtures, appliances and all the other choices that seemed so overwhelming.
>
> Then we got a schedule that was 13 weeks long. We lived in the house the entire time they remodeled the kitchen. The project included taking down two interior walls, taking out a sliding glass door and replacing it with a new outside wall and window. Each step of the way professional specialists came out to do their part. They even custom made siding to match our existing siding and they matched the exterior paint perfectly. The cabinets, counter tops, and appliances are all perfect.
>
> The kitchen was a sort of cube in the corner of the big living room. Now the whole room is open and the entire space feels magical - comfortable, spacious, warm, inviting, well-lit. I'm the type to obsess over a tiny visual detail that isn't quite right and I am having none of that because they did such great finishing work. I waited three weeks after they were done to even decorate the rest of the room because I wanted to have the beauty of the kitchen matched throughout the room (rather than just put all the old stuff back in there).
>
> All of our questions were answered in a timely manner. They even came out on a couple weekends (including Father's Day) to fix silly little problems that we should have been able to figure out but we are house idiots. They were always patient.
>
> Not once, NOT ONCE, did they fall behind schedule. They completed their work exactly on time. The estimate they gave us in the beginning was more than we wanted to spend but we accepted that Seattle is an expensive place to, well, do anything. So it was super important to us that they not go over their estimate. And they did not. In fact, they came in about $1000 under budget.
>
> On the last day of the schedule, the clean up guy came and I wish he could come to my house every week and clean. It was spotless when he left and I mean the entire room, not just the kitchen. He even washed the windows that are not by the kitchen area.
>
> Before this experience, I would have thought it impossible to make the 13 weeks worth it. We moved our "kitchen" into the downstairs laundry room and bar area of the family room. It was cramped and a bunch of other unhappy adjectives. Because they were working directly above the laundry room, saw dust kept coming off the ceiling onto the kitchen area. (And yes, when they happened to go downstairs, they were even good about cleaning that up throughout the process). Weeks of frozen dinners and doing dishes in a utility sink, of having lots of strangers in the house all day long and I can say without any qualifiers, that it was totally worth it.
>
> I only wish we would come into a windfall of money so we could use Irons Brothers again to remodel other parts of the house, like that family room and laundry room I mentioned....

> I am delighted with my home addition and restoration of entire exterior.
> Not the lowest price, but the best outcome.
>
> I have lived here 30 plus years.
> My three different eras of earlier home remodels had no curb appeal, and made no sense.
> Respect and timely communication gave me piece of mind, during the construction.
>
> The suggestions, of what was possible, with follow through to stress-free completion, has
> changed my life.

> This is our second project with Irons Brothers Construction. We are as pleased with the work for this project as we were the first time. The design that was created by the architects was perfect for our needs. Each contractor that came to our home was professional and knowledgeable. The quality of all work was exceptional. We were given a calendar with timelines for each phase of the remodel. We always knew when someone would be coming to our home to work. The work was completed by the date we were given. Iron's Brothers always finishes a project with an exceptional clean up job by the crew and a professional cleaner. Our home now feels much larger and brighter. During the construction phase our home was the talk of all the neighbors. Many of them followed every step of the process and occasionally stopped by to inquire how things were going. We have and will continue to recommend Irons Brothers to our friends and neighbors.

> We are working on third project with Irons Brothers. We have been very pleased by the quality of the work done and the professionalism of staff and sub contractors. Remodeling is always stressful but we have found that Irons Brothers works to make the experience as painless as possible.

> What started as a small project grew into a major remodel thanks to the professionals on their team and we are very satisfied with the finished product. The project added three bedrooms with large walk-in closets, one large full bath, one 3/4 bath, 2-car carport, large shop/storage area, kitchen pantry, gas furnace and ducting for the whole house, on-demand gas hot water heater, three sky-lights, remodeled front entry with wheelchair access, new electrical access and upgrade, new roof and siding for the whole house, new/improved water drainage for those Washington downpours, and a list of things too large to add. Their design team provided elegant solutions that provided the extra living space but did not over-power the type of homes in this area. I appreciate the design options offered for the decor. The decisions became over-whelming too soon and they were able to provide a quality product with minimal guidance. The workmanship was first rate, especially on the finish carpentry. The new additions were done while we lived in the original house. The workmen were able to work around us and even managed to keep our numerous cats contained during construction. Joseph and his team worked with us to keep the costs under control. Their insight kept me from making mistakes of taking an inexpensive path when the final project benefited from doing it 'right'. I have since shown their work to neighbors and recommended them to friends that are needing remodeling work done.

> Complete Window replacement on older home. The job was tricky as the home is almost 100 years old. But they did a great job, on time and under budget.

**★★★★★ — jameswdossett, March 2015**

> We had our bathtub removed and a lovely walk-in shower designed and installed. We also had our utility room upgraded. We enjoyed working with Iron Brothers. Great personnel. Expert workmanship. Would highly recommend them.

> I have taken the photos for Irons Brothers Construction for several years. I am always amazed by the expert craftsmanship and the company's concern for every detail. The professionalism and caring exhibited by Joseph and Melissa Irons towards their customers is first rate.

**Comment from Irons Brothers Construction Inc:**

> Thank you for your review Tom, it is always a pleasure working with you. Your photography is award winning and captures our project details and beauty so nicely! Just like the image of this bathroom remodel attached.

> We have provided architectural services to Irons Brothers Construction Inc. on numerous projects over many years. We are extremely impressed with the professionalism of the firm from design through construction. The final product they offer is excellent thanks to their efforts.

> I've hired Irons Brothers Construction for several jobs that required professional work (not DIY stuff). They have been extremely helpful, pleasant to work with, timely, cost effective and most importantly, professional. They are my "go to" folks when I need the work done that I cannot do myself.
