We had a leak which caused us to have to redo our hardwoods and paint. We ended up doing a large renovation in our home (bathrooms, kitchen, laundry room, common areas..). Kathy made this very stressful situation so much easier. I do not enjoy picking paint, fixtures, flooring etc… I really wanted to be very hands off. She has beautiful taste and really listened to my likes and dislikes. I wanted timeless changes with a hint of trendy and current. Kathy and I first met in our home and went over the scope of work we needed done and our ideas. She gave us a quote for designing each room individually which was super helpful. We would meet at the design studio or plumbing showroom to make selections, or she would bring options to my home and I would make my selections. It was such an easy process. I would make my selections which she would keep a hand written copy, as well as, sending me everything in an email. She would then submit it all to the contractor. She has excellent organization, which saved me a lot of work. For example, when I picked out hardware for the kitchen, I made my choice. Kathy then measured all the drawers/cabinets and ordered the correct sizing for each drawer/cabinet. I didn’t have to keep track of anything. The product would simply show up at our house. Kathy made a massive undertaking so much more manageable and enjoyable. All of her connections, contractor, painters, drapery room are all so professional and get the jobs done and do them very well. Kathy along with all the people she uses are always on top of things. We were selling our old house which needed quite a few updates (whole house painting, new carpet/tile, and master shower remodel) prior to listing as well as updates to our new house (whole house painting, wallpaper, new quartz counters, flooring tile, built-in bookcases and sideboard, all new furniture, rugs, lighting, cabinets and hardware, draperies, accessories - literally almost everything!) Kathy also worked with us to commission some paintings from a local gallery that she works with and these wonderful pieces are really the icing on the cake for us! Kathy did a fantastic job of selecting items that would please both my husband and me which wasn't always easy! We loved that she got a good feeling of our likes, tastes, and styles prior to the selection process and then presented us with a handful of options that she thought would appeal to both of us (e.g. fabrics, furniture, etc.) This really helped us from being overwhelmed by the selection process while still giving us the final choice. Kathy's creative ability and eye for color and design was such an asset to us and I am incredibly thankful that we found her. She also is very organized and even though our project was quite long in duration due to scope and supply chain issues, Kathy stayed on top of everything.
