> My wife and I hired Caroline's team to paint a mural in our living room and were extremely disappointed with the results, but equally disappointed with how Caroline handled the process. She assured us that there would be plenty of time to iterate on the design, that she's a professional and to trust her. And yet somehow, the mural that ended up on our walls is inconsistent (adjacent sections look like they were done in different styles), ugly (visitors have said the foliage looks like mold), and in one corner, there's a tree without any leaves. Yes, her team painted a dead tree in our living room. Suffice it to say that was not in the brief.

> She offered to come back and fix some of these mistakes, but would charge us for the process, and I can't stomach the idea of giving any more money to Caroline's firm.

> One good thing I can say about them is that the painting team is friendly and clearly skilled at the craft. But it didn't add up to a mural we're happy to have on our walls. We limed all the wood, restored all the brick to look hundreds of years old (it had all been painted bright white), aubergine venetian plaster highlight walls, and italian flour sacks turned into drapery to give a final softening.
