**★★★★★ — Annie & Bill Kirill, Feb. 2018**

> We enlisted the design support of Joe Russillo and Maple Street Design Studio seven years ago when we began Phase I of our two-part design/build project. Joe’s Phase I design of our two bedroom, two bath guest cottage and garage was brilliant. He created a bright, airy classic Maine cottage and efficiently maximized every square inch. Aesthetically pleasing in every way! We have loved creating with Joe and have loved living in this beautifully designed space while waiting to build the second phase... our house.
>
> Phase II is now underway. The outstanding plans Joe designed for our main house are complete and construction has begun. Joe and his team continue to support us by listening thoughtfully, by helping us make wise decisions in order to stay within our budget and by regularly communicating with our build team. Joe has met every deadline and has been readily available to advise us each step of the way. We can’t say enough good things about our experience with Joe Russillo and Maple Street Design Studio. Professionalism at its best. Bravo!

**★★★★★ — Jennifer Wayland, Aug. 2017**

> We had a small update to a fairly new house (rejiggering the layout of a master suite, adding a wood stove) and it was handled professionally. The attention to detail was sincerely appreciated, and the thoughtfulness about how the layout would work for our specific needs went above and beyond our expectations. Maple Street Design Studio's aesthetic aligns closely with ours and if we ever need design services in the future - this will be our only stop.

**★★★★★ — B Cox, Aug. 2017**

> Joe Russillo has been my architect for a major renovation from a fishing lodge to a gorgeous contemporary 4 bedroom house in the woods, taking advantage of the amazing water views. The end result is quite spectacular. We have been able to work together well as Joe has responded with creativity and skill to all the sometimes excentric ideas I was sending his way. Joe has a number of contractors he works well with and this too has been an essential payout for me hiring him as my architect. I have been the project manager but Joe has volunteered to follow the progress of his "baby". We just finished the project summer 2017.
> Joe has been particularly good for exterior plans of the construction. He has not shyed away from some original ideas and architectural details that have come out spectacular and make my house MINE.

**★★★★★ — Karen Sutton, Aug. 2017**

> Maple Street Design Studio (Joe Russillo) was with us every step of the way - from beginning plans to post renovation details. Joe was very professional and personable. It seemed very easy for Joe to convert our visions into a drawing and make them real. We truly enjoyed working with Joe and hope to again in the future.

**★★★★★ — Robert Dwelley, July 2017**

> Joe is simply respectful. He respects our design ideas first and thoughtfully folds his deep experience into the final product. During construction he is again respectful of the building team and develops a cohesiveness that turns out a first rate house. Not to mention that his talent is broad with a comfort in modern and traditional. We feel very fortunate to have his calming energy.

**★★★★★ — bradley boyd, Oct. 2016**

> We started designing our house addition in early 2008 broke ground in May 2011 and moved in on Valentine's Day 2012. Needless to say, we took our time. Joe was most patient with us and our constant question regarding details. Of course, changes came up and he was ready to draw / re-draw anything - like the roof over the front door. Joe has this quite confidence that carried us through the construction process.
> All we get from guests are WOW!

**★★★★★ — jbharris13, Jan. 2016**

> Working with Maple Street Design Studio, specifically Joe Russillo, made our major home renovation truly awesome! We had a lot of dreams and desires and Joe was great at drawing and incorporating most of them while being equally as good at managing our expectations. He never put his vision above ours, but did offer alternative suggestions to help when he thought something might not work or could be accomplished differently and often better. Despite being over a hundred miles away, Joe was very involved not only in the design but also in the build management process an absolute must for us. He made the whole process less stressful and the end result amazing. Three years later, I still find myself sitting in one room or another, thinking…"I LOVE my house!"

**★★★★★ — roserebreast, Dec. 2015**

> Thanks to Maple Street Design Studio, we had the house of our dreams built. It was such a great experience to work with Joe Russillo...he truly listened to our every want and incorporated it into our home. We came with ideas and he made it happen. Very professional. Explained pricing and very on target with that too.
