> Green Grass transformed our yard space from a mud pile that was sliding into our neighbors yard, to a beautiful and functional space.  We were impressed by the professionalism of the landscape architect Jeff, the project manager Patrick and their crews.  The bid we received was competitive with the other vendors that we spoke with.  This company stood out with their thoroughness on the plans and detailed proposal as well as their knowledge of village code.  Multiple sections were completed (100 ft brick retaining wall, pavers patio and fire pit area, and fencing). > We worked closely with Landscape Architect, Jeff Johnson, on a full landscape redesign during a complete house renovation. Jeff's initial plan was exactly what we had hoped for and reflected the architecture style of our house. He listened closely to our wishes for a low maintenance, Prairie style design. His knowledge of the appropriate plants that will thrive in our conditions made the plan flourish year after year. We used Green Grass for hardscape patio design and installation, building of two large retaining walls (one using engineered store and one with reclaimed natural stone) and for all of the plantings. We were very impressed with their installation crew. Over the years, we have worked with Jeff to tweak the existing design and make small changes to accommodate the way our family uses our yard. I was very impressed with how flexible they were as we made some changes to the plans on the fly and they just rolled with it. We received 3 estimates for the job and Green Grass was the lowest price and yet, there appears to be no compromise in quality or service.  They cleaned up their mess and provided weekly updates. > I cannot imagine a better experience working with a landscaping company.  We hired Green Grass, Inc. to design and implement the hardscape and landscaping in our back yard.  Jeff Johnson, the landscape architect, listened carefully to our ideas and came up with a plan that incorporated those ideas and then some.  Our backyard is transformed.  We built patios on two levels (bluestone and clay pavers), redid all of the landscaping in the backyard, including a raised vegetable bed, and created a new access to one side of our house.  The project began and ended on schedule.  I can't emphasize enough how responsive ALL the employees at Green Grass were.  The two crews (hard scape and soft scape), the site supervisor, and Jeff were extremely professional and their work ethic and care were exemplary.  Each person involved worked to make the results the best they could be.  When Jeff came to check progress, if there was something he thought needed to be done to improve things a bit, he included it.  I highly recommend this company.

A: Thank you! This material is natural cleft Bluestone, color is Blue Select.

A: The wall is Rosetta Belvedere, color is Fond du Lac.

A: The fireplace is comprised of mortared limestone, most likely Fond du Lac. The design was custom and it was built on site by a mason.
