> Horrible. Just a an expensive way to get sloppy work. The owner shows these wonderful grandiose Kitchens in his showrooms. They are all made by the skilled craftsmen of Germany, his fatherland.

> Building Center No.3 hired German Kitchen for the great hardware and impressive quality of the lacquer finish cabinets. Our client, based in the Brickell area of Miami, loved the finished product . We have had some minor issues arise but German Kitchen has honored the warranty and repaired or replaced any items under their scope of work. Since the products come from Germany, long lead times need to be factored into the design and construction process; but the quality is worth the wait depending on the project schedule. As a courtesy German Kitchen even showed our client how to use some of Miele appliances--which were not in their scope of work.

> We had planned a kitchen remodel that included the addition/ installation of an 18 inch dishwasher. Comparing prices and quality of the appliances available, so we chose to go with the Miele dishwasher priced a little high than other brands but quality of the product way above the rest. When looking for a retailer we contacted German Kitchen LLC and received the best service. We arranged to drive down and meet with the owners of the store to look at our options and the product itself, which was on display. Due to the distance from our house to where the store is located, they even offered to stay a little later for us. Now that is Service!!!!  We ended up purchasing the appliance earlier than needed and arranged a delivery date about 3-4 weeks out. The dishwasher was delivered on time just like promised (we installed the dishwasher ourself as the kitchen was not ready), received great tips on the care and how to uses it properly. It was a pleasure buying from German Kitchen LLC , anytime again - Thank you!

**Q: Kitchen Cupboard Design** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Hi. We recently built our home - first home owners so at the time of the build we were unable to afford top cupboards in our kitchen.

 Now hubs and I are going back and forth about putting a cupboard above the Fridge space. I am not really keen on blocking the fridge in - (because I don't think we will be keeping that fridge and there's no use building something custom around it. - what if we want to go bigger)

If anyone has any ideas on what layout for the top - it would be great. The cupboards are laminated but I am open to other suggestions for materials that will tie in with what we already have.  Thanks in advance. (I am also from Australia and willing to source the right product).

A: I would not leave the place like it is. It looks like something is missing. Do a little change.
You could consider shelving now for your decoration and still change later to cabinets.

A: There is a chance to use fully integrated models. LIEBHERR and FAGOR has fully integrated fridges but you would need a cabinet for it.

**Q: Need Help with Kitchen** *(in Design Dilemma)*

So we're moving into a big brick, craftsman style, 1920's house, and this is the kitchen we would like to renovate. I love the bones of this house, but I'm not quite sure where to start. I was thinking beadboard on the soffit, painted like woodwork, and paint the cabinets. We can't afford to do all new cabinets right now. On the right of the range, I'd like to do a butchers block countertop. Colorwise I'm thinking seafoam/mint cabinets and white everything else. Any ideas?

A: When you later change to new cabinets, you should get rid of the ugly soffits above the cabinets.

**Q: Need help on Kitchen Backsplash!!!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Recently renovated our kitchen. We have cloud white cabinets, absolute black granite, with brown cork flooring.  As you can tell we are not big on bright colours.  Any suggestions on a backsplash? Are walls are a light blue with grey undertone and it does look into the living room.  
I forgot to add - although I find white subway tiles classic I feel they are a bit boring.
