I was very excited to finally find a company that may find the answer to our ongoing problem with movement in the house. We live in a 3 storey home in the beaches area which has been newly renovated in 2012. With lots of activity going on in the house the floor would feel as though it is moving. The worst would be when my husband and I were in bed at night during any storms or high winds. One time we even thought there was an earthquake. Rambod from Upside made a trip to our house to provide his professional opinion on the issues we were experiencing. Prior to meeting with him we had tried calling around but no one was willing to take on the issue as to them it was a huge hassle. We were so bothered by this problem that we were prepared to pay and resolve it as soon as possible. The amazing thing about Rambod's service is not only did he finally figure out our problem but he was also the guy to fix it. After an assessment of the house he stated our laundry on the 2nd floor could be the cause for the movement. He asked me to run the machine and walked through the house again. He believed that the machines were structurally not sitting on proper supports and overtime have loosened the frame of the house. We of course were terrified of the safety issues, he reassured us the house is in very good condition and would not collapse but that we would need to either build support under the laundry room or relocate the laundry room. We decided on relocating the laundry room to the first floor as it fit more in line with our budget. I really appreciate the way in which Rambod calmed our worries, gave us options, charged a very reasonable rate for his assessment and work. Now we sleep in peace regardless of the weather.
