Every solutions had failed; the water was never clear and the plants failed. Until Premier Ponds came up with a solution, which required reconfiguring how the pond operated, and involved some expense. They also ended up rebuilding the waterfall and did a super job on all of it. Whenever we had concerns, they were very easy to work with and respectful in resolving the situations. I happened to see a laptop, at my place of business, with a beautiful picture of what I thought to be a park but I learned this was a backyard pond that was constructed by Premier Ponds. The laptop belonged to the father of Mike K. I was given a phone number and an email address to contact Mike K. I did contact Mike by email and started communicating and asking questions on all aspects of what was involved in building a new pond. After about a month and many emails between the two of us I was satisfied and committed to a 10’x15’ pond with a double drop waterfall, a stepper edge, an ionizer, a mystery waterfall, a cave, a tunnel, plants and lights. Mike stated that the month of October was their pond cleaning month and that he wouldn’t be able to start until the middle of November. I was concerned about the weather but Mike, Andrew, Nick and the rest of the Premier Pond crew arrived on the morning of November 14, 2016 and the weather couldn’t have been better. They all knew what to do and pitched in removing sod, and digging the pond. Before long a large truck arrived with 300 lb. stones for the pond and stepper stones to surround the pond. Everything started to take shape: the skimmer and the bio-filter placement as well as the underlay and liner. I tried to stay out of their way as I wanted to take a lot of pictures as they worked. After 3 days I had a completed pond and before they left they installed a net over the pond and thank goodness they did because the wind started blowing and leaves started falling, but not in the new pond. They cleaned up every last thing before they left so I had nothing to clean up. It is now the middle of January 2017 and there is almost no maintenance required except for the removal of a few leaves that made it under the net. Mike and his crew doing the work are all a great group of guys, very professional and efficient. We also use them 2 times a year to maintain the pond and keep it healthy for our Koi. They presented us with a beautiful water plant as a customer gift several months ago and we were touched!
