The first phase was a gut renovation on the house, including all new electric wiring and plumbing and conversion from oil to propane. We completely renovated one bathroom and created a second in what was a small bedroom. Custom stone work on the outside of the house and new cement-based shingles on the house. New wide oak flooring throughout the first floor, new kitchen, an elevator, a partially finished basement rec room and extraordinary details throughout, such as custom woodworking in many rooms. > > After the first phase, I wasn’t interested in estimates from any other contractors. This was my responsibility to oversee, as my husband didn’t have the time to deal with the details. It's amazing. But living in South Africa would perhaps have to find a similar wood, as we don't have the trees that are grown in the USA. Beautifully turned out. A: We used Maple veneered plywood. **Q: Bookcase question** *(in Photo Questions)* I love this bookcase and shelving unit. This item is perfect for a wall I have in my house. Can you please tell me more information about it. Where was it purchased? Thanks. A: It was custom built to fit the wall length and height.
