> I am very grateful to Bowley Builders not only for the on-time, on-budget completion of two major projects, but also for the prompt and knowledgeable response to any and every issue—from generators to flying squirrels—that comes up over the course of home ownership in coastal Maine.

> The bathroom project—a full renovation of one bath and the tricky addition of a new bath on the third floor—we threw at Bowley only weeks before we wanted to start.  But somehow they fit us in the schedule and started and completed the project on time.  With the extensive kitchen/laundry remodel, they devoted time and resources to help us plan and prepare, even going so far as to store a refrigerator we wanted for 6 months, and that project also started when we wanted and finished on time.

> This was the second home that Bowley Builders built for us, one 15 years ago and another smaller one this past summer.  We were impressed with their attention to detail and concern to "get it right".  All the subcontractors from electrical, plumbing, architect, landscape architect, HVAC, painting, etc. were top notch, respectful, and easy to work with.  They kept the work site totally clean and neat at all times, putting away their tools and materials at the end of each work day.  We were especially impressed with one of the cabinet makers, Derek Prebble, who did an outstanding job of crafting built-ins in our study and living room.  It was a pleasure working with Geoff Bowley and we would recommend him to anyone who wants a first-class builder for their home or business.

> I met Geoff 5+ years ago when he was referred by our real estate agent.  We were looking to purchase a home at Goose Rocks Beach that was in need of a total rehab and we wanted to get an experience builder’s input on structure and a ballpark on the costs involved prior to purchasing the home.  We felt comfortable buying the house, in large part because of Geoff’s input.  Since then, we have worked with Geoff on the total house rehab, an addition and the rehab of a shed into living space.   Geoff builds a high quality home.  He is communicative, very organized and broke the construction decisions down in to manageable parts and a timeline.   He is practical and while listening to a client’s ideas is also very good at being cost conscience.  I am in interior design but do not hesitate to seek Geoff’s input on design and style.  He manages his sub contractors closely and has mature and respectful people that work for him. Projects come in "on time" and on budget...highly unusual in his business.  I have recommended Geoff to several friends and business associates and do so whole-heartedly!

A: Its actually a combination. Coats of oil first, and then coats for water for durability on top.

A: Good Morning. Thank you for your question. These shingles are white cedar, Maibec brand. They are pre-dipped with bleaching oil, installed, and then another coat of bleaching oil is applied in the field to even out the look. I hope this helps.

**Q: What is the paint color of the walls and trim?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Thanks for your question. I believe the color was benjamin moor's decorators white on both the trim and the walls. Semi-gloss on the standing and running trim, and then an eggshell on the walls. I hope this helps.
