Randy, the owner and general contractor was not forthright with us about our project timeline and clearly took on more than he could handle as he was rarely present at the project site (once a week at best). Often, I would stop by to check on the work and no one was present working. I would tell Randy and he would not have a clue about it. His contractors drank on the job and left their empty cans in a trash heap in my yard (see photos), had picnics with their spouses on my front lawn and even called me directly. Randy and his son got into a verbal altercation with my neighbors. We tried to fire him more than once. We had numerous problems with the work itself too as things were not done that we expected, including Randy refusing to build a fence as we specified. He also submitted hte wrong permits to the city for the electrical work and we still have an electrical meter hanging off the front of our house months later. During this time, my husband was deployed overseas serving our country and I was treated with minimal respect by Niko- his business development manager and by Randy who called my husband and I disrespectful when we were not satisfied with his work. Recently, less than a year after the work, we have a catastrophic leak in the plumbing he installed which damaged drywall and the flooring in our basement. We have attempted to contact him, but he is ignoring us. Randy and his contractors are overpriced, unprofessional, and clearly do a shoddy job (see photos). Randy worked with us from the beginning on our budget, and if an area was exceeding the budget, he would let us know. Randy's workers were on time and professional. We did have one small incidence of a disagreement on fit of a sink in one bathroom. Randy fixed the issue to our satisfaction. What really impressed me about Randy was that about a year after the project finished, we had problems with the tile being loose in one of the bathrooms. Randy send a worker to fix it. When this still didn't fix it, he sent a tile expert to come and assess and fix the problem.
