  - Description: This house was originally designed by an artist in the 1970’s. The kitchen was full of angled walls leaving little space for cabinetry. The kitchen was transformed by removing the angled range wall, straightening the window wall, and opening up the top section of the refrigerator wall. The peninsula was removed to make room for a kitchen island.

By closing off two doorways I was able to create the corner cabinetry and counter, creating a cohesive flow from refrigerator to range that did not exist in the original kitchen layout. Antique reclaimed wood tops the newly appointed kitchen island adding warmth and character to the space.
