> I spoke to Mark on Thursday regarding his development in Happy Valley. There were approximately 25 homes being built and 3 lots left were still available for the 2.5 story homes. He told me those last few lots were going to be $470k-ish.  (This is $20k over the price of the others that had sold recently.). I met my realtor out there to get into a near complex Ted house and decided to reserve one of the last three lots. We successfully reserved the lot we wanted and I dropped off the check Monday. That night my realtor informed me that he now wants $523k instead of $470 because there was multiple people wanting to reservations...also assuming the price was closer to the price of those already sold.  We have now backed out of the sale based on Mark’s greed, lack of integrity, and for that price I can get a much Nicer home through Ichijo. I wanted to go with Stone Creek so as to not be house poor. We would never have bothered looking at these homes at that price.

> After meeting over half a dozen builders when we first met Mark and Kalin, we knew right off the bat that they were the right people to build us our dream home. Unlike everyone else they didn't bombard us with questions about our budget or per square foot quotes but rather they were actually interested in understanding our vision for the house, what were our must have features and what custom options we desired and then figure out how to fit all of that within our budget. Mark also spent a considerable amount of time visiting the site and the city to understanding the fine print in the city codes and zonal regulations to help us better understand the feasibility of construction and navigate the permits to construction process even before we officially signed on with them to build the house. Throughout the construction phase everyone at StoneCreek was professional, helpful, accommodating and most importantly transparent to the last penny. Mark and Kalin will always have our deepest heartfelt gratitude for building us this place we now call home.
