> Recently I called Clay to have him quote 8 pairs of custom cedar shutters for my house. I sent him pictures of the original shutters so I would be sure to meet HOA requirements. By the end of the next day I received Clay’s proposal and was able to make a few minor adjustments, compared his final proposal to the others I had received and was able to schedule my project start. As we were working on the scheduling of my project the construction industry was in the middle of supply chain constraints for cedar material but Clay was able to source and paint the material required for my project. In addition to the shutter project I was also coordinating the painting of my house and a renovation of my front door. Clay was able to work within the confines of the other trades on the job, he was on time and completed the install as agreed. Clay was also able to reuse the original shutter hardware thereby saving me some money. When the work was completed and I was satisfied Clay cleaned up his part of the site. I would highly recommend Clay without reservation. In short I found Clay to be dependable, professional, honest, responsive, knowledgeable, easy to work with, a good communicator and he provides quality workmanship.

**Q: Paint colors** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the color of the walls and shutters?

A: I think the shutters are painted SW Black Fox but this was some time back so I am not positive on that.

Can you please tell me what stain was used for this project?

A: This was a custom mix that was a match attempt. I don't know the exact color but Behr Transparant or Semi-transparent Weatherproofing "Padre Brown" is a good choice to get close.
