> We moved to Colorado two years ago and decided something crazy. We wanted to build from the ground up. We didn't know anyone or anything about the area or building and someone recommended Gray Eagle Builders. Best choice ever. He helped us through the entire process and answered all our annoying and stupid questions. He was very professional and kept our needs and desires forefront in his mind, often making helpful suggestions we hadn't even thought of. Our new house is beautiful and well built. We love it!

> Gray Eagle Builders are awesome! Since I live near Conifer, it was very hard to find a quality contractor I could trust, and now I will never call anyone else. They've done several jobs for me, including a huge, 4-car attached garage, which entailed many challenges due to the steep angle of the roof, an existing deck that had to be reworked, and a very unique window problem. Don and his crew are always a genuine pleasure to work with. They are ultra-professional and very good at everything I have them do. They're on-site and on-time every time they're scheduled, and they clean up after each day and keep the worksite very neat. They're very accommodating and thorough, both in planning and execution of the job. Gray Eagle Builders and Don's Team will move mountains to be sure it’s done correctly and within the budget. I just can’t say enough about how great they are and what a great job they do. I would highly recommend Gray Eagle Builders to anyone.

The work took months and involved a wall removal, another wall moved, window reconfiguration, new harwood floors, fireplace installation and many more smaller jobs. Don is a great contractor with great attention to detail and quality. He and his subs were in my home for months and it was always a pleasure as they were friendly and respectful. He had strong professional connections with expert craftsmen who gave my home unique and customized touches. The quality of work was excellent.

> We moved to Conifer, Colorado 14 years ago.  13 Years ago I needed a deck built – and I needed it built in 2 weeks!  A neighbor recommended Don Greenless – I called Don, we met, and my deck was built in 2 weeks !! Gray Eagle worked on the deck through severe weather – they would hunker down beneath cover, let the weather pass, and get back to work – to me, that was proof of a great work ethic.

> Since then, Gray Eagle Builders built a Mud Room on the front entrance, heated tile floor, skylights, glass door to the deck they built, a door to the garage and a large closet.

> My wife and I try to work out every day, but working out in the garage was not so fun – so, I asked Gray Eagle Builders to covert the lower deck of the house to a workout room. They reinforced the deck, installed flooring and closed the deck in with large windows, its own roof and gutter system, gas heat, and a carpeted floor.  We use this room almost daily.. Try to stay healthy and strong…
> I play in a local band (Ruth Israel & The Band, Once Removed), we wanted to rehearse in the basement but there was a pole in the middle of the room.  I asked Don what it would take to remove the pole; he came back to me a week or so later and told me he could do it – and he did.  Don and his tradesman installed five (5) steel beams and removed the pole! We rehearsed there for a couple of years.

> After the band grew, we realized we needed a larger space, I met with Don, and he designed a 2,000 sq ft rehearsal/recording studio across the driveway – so now we rehearse in a beautiful studio built above a 6 car garage – so, when people say we are a garage band, we say, we are just above a garage band..

> After Don built the 6 car garage, we really didn’t need the 3 car garage that is attached to the main house; so, I asked Don to convert it to a game room.  He came up with some very interesting ideas – you need to see this Game Room! It is absolutely wonderful – the floor is unique, and again, we had another pole that had to be removed; Don installed two beams to hold up the floor and roof that are above the garage. He removed the attic that was above the garage, giving the space the ability to have skylights. Very Cool.

> Don also recently built us a Hot Tub Room – it’s almost finished !! The local Hot Tub store (in Conifer) had an awesome Labor Day Sale – so we got a great deal on a Lazy Boy Hot Tub.  We wanted the ability to use the Hot Tub after working out, so Don extended the workout room and added an enclosed Hot Tub room. Cedar Walls and Ceiling, and the largest windows with an exhaust vent, large TV and Speaker System – great place to relax.

> Don has also installed two (2) SCAN Fireplaces for us; 1 in the main house, and 1 in the studio. This has greatly reduced our heating costs (Thank You Don!).

> My Wife and I want to purchase a piece of property – we want Don to build us a Stable and a Custom Home – and we want him to do it in stages; as we can afford it.  So, he’s tasked with helping us find the property, and building our dream home, one step at a time.  He can do it.  He knows how to build, he’s done it for a very long time.

> Don's Wife, Karla is awesome to work with; she keeps the books, and makes certain all the accounting is up to date.  If there's ever a question on accounting, the record keeping is intact.  That's the way to run a business.
