We are a family-owned home remodeling company.  The owner, Dennis McCloskey, has been fine tuning his carpentry skills and perfecting his trade as a residential and commercial contractor for over 20 years. It all began when he began renovating his parents beach home in Ocean City MD in the 1980’s and that expanded to neighbors and many other customers across Maryland.  He then pursued a career as an I.T. professional designing and building fiber optic networks across the country but he missed “Turning Houses Into Homes,” so he has returned to the construction industry that he loves (and moved back to Ocean City area) and started Kade Construction, Inc. in 2005.  The KADE name comes from combining his wife's name "Kate" with "Dennis".  Often many customers think Dennis's name is "Kade" which he responds to as well.

As a licensed MHIC contractor, with 20 years of experience solving all types of home problems, floorplan challenges and demolition/remodeling projects, he goes above & beyond, putting his heart into what he does so that, in the end, his customers love their homes.  Almost 100% of our business comes from word-of-mouth from a long list of happy customers.  And Dennis will work hard to deliver your home projects in a timely manner, and at a price you can afford. > In 2011 I hired KADE Construction to remodel the 1st floor of my house and add a room on the 2nd floor.  My wife and I were more then satisfied with the quality of the work and since then, KADE has been back to put a new roof on the house and replace my boat dock. Since this is a second residence and only used occasionally, I can always count on Dennis to help me out in an emergency. Dennis is a gentleman and pleasure to do business with, but most of all, I trust him.

They came prior to the work checking my roof and giving me an estimate and also we talked about a new step with small deck for the entrance into shop area. > My wife and I live in a single story townhouse, known as a Villa, in Ocean Pines, Maryland. In May, 2008 we decided to build a deck onto the back of our house. Being new to the area, we were not aware of a reputable local company that we could contract to do the job. We were advised by a neighbor to  have Kade Construction give us a bid and we are glad that we did. They impressed us from the initial meeting to the finished product. After a very reasonable bid, Kade began the work and finished ahead of schedule. They were very professional showing up on time, used the best products, and made minor adjustments that we requested. My wife and I were very impressed with the finished product. As a matter of fact, three of my neighbors were also impressed. After observing the finished product, they had Kade Construction build decks for their homes. We are also going to have them come back to build bedrooms in our second floor attic next year.
