I was beyond thrilled with the work that they did. Nick was wonderful to work with – he was always quick to offer solutions to what seemed like roadblocks, and would offer budget-friendly options whenever possible. The kitchen designer who we worked with through Blom was incredible, as were all of the renovation technicians and sub-contractors who came in. Even when our start day was the middle of a snowstorm, they showed up before their 8:00 start time! Nick assured us our kitchen / bathroom reno would be completed in six weeks and it was. And ours was not a small job! We took out a wall on our main level and moved our kitchen to the other side of the room. Nick came up with some ideas we never would have thought of – one being to change out our colonial style bannister for an up to date one. We are so glad we did! As with any renovation, there were a couple issues along the way but they were handled immediately. Rita did a fantastic job getting us new hardwood nosing for our steps when we realized what was sent didn’t fit our vision. Of course these things always happen on a Friday but that new nosing was there by Monday already! We loved all the Blom employees and we received high quality workmanship from each of them. All the sub-contractors they have in place were friendly, efficient and did a great job. We would recommend Blom Contracting to anyone, their pricing is competitive and they go above and beyond.
