> Like most people who decide to build a custom house for the first time, my wife and I were pretty nervous about what we were getting into. We had certainly heard plenty of horror stories. As it turned out, designing and building our house was one of the best experiences we have ever had together, all thanks to Schaefer Custom Homes. Michael, Mikey, and Zach were phenomenal to work with. The one word that summarizes what Schaefer Custom Homes stands for is QUALITY. The quality of their houses is incredible. The attention to detail and the beauty of our home surpassed our highest expectations. They built our house on time, on budget, and more beautiful than we thought possible. We have also learned that our house is incredibly energy efficient—they built it so well and with a focus on energy efficiency and that will benefit us for as long as we live here. I recommend Schaefer Custom Homes to everyone in our area who is thinking of building or remodeling a house. You could not have a better experience designing and building a custom home than we had with Michael Schaefer.
