I got a phone call 30 minutes before arrival and Mike and Scott showed up at just about 8am for the 8am-9am window I was given. By the way, can I just comment that I received a 1 hour arrival window? Almost every arrival window I have received has been 2-4hours. > > Mike and Scott introduced themselves, shook my hand, and got right to it. They lay out a drop cloth as not to get my floors dirty, brought in a bucket and tools, and started working. Turns out one of the pieces that was going to be used (my original piece) was cracked and they had to run out to the store. I don't fault them since I had said I had that piece and a new one I bought (which I had cut too short for what they needed). > > They came back shortly after and started again. The whole time, they answered my questions happily. Mike also commented that due to how things were setup and the depth of the new sink, he'd need to hang the trap a little lower than it was. He also let me know in a month, after things settled, I may need to tighten things a half turn. And when I asked about the plumbers' putty oozing out still (from a few days ago) he let me know it was normal and it would probably happen over the next week or so.
