Now our neighborhood has all sorts of one-off new construction replacing older, worn homes, but he was one of the first to see the potential here. It is a green home, constructed with insulated concrete forms (ICF) for great insulation, solar tubes for passive lighting, and a roof fully insulated with soy foam. He included other thoughtful touches, like a long picture window facing the trail that runs in front of our house and a spacious grand room with a raised tray ceiling that never ceases to elicit compliments. He also cleverly gave us a garage (rare in this neighborhood) but still made a room for a lovely porch. > > On top of all this, he is so personable and helpful.
