> Please beware when dealing with this company. We found him on this site and regret the day I came across that company. We signed a contract with Simon Kirubi president of Kenrock Construction.com Corp (License: HIC 193548) on May 25, 2021 for a bathroom remodel. We gave him a 40% deposit of $4,899.87 on May 27, 2021. The contract outlines that the work would be completed in 10 days and the contractor was to obtain all the permits. I initially thought they would need more time so I was patient but Simon told us that he filed for the building permit right after the contract was signed but he never actually filed for a permit until July 16, after I contacted Boston Inspectional Services and asked about the permit. The problems started with demolition - they removed a sink without cutting the water and left flooding on our floor, damaged a wall in another room and the antique molding around a door. The person doing the roughing for the plumbing spread a water proof membrane all over the shower area before they installed the pipes and boards, and the bathroom floor and round the toilet.  He apologized for the work on his employees and said that he did not have a project manager who could monitor the work and agreed to give me a refund. He gave me the first half of my refund and then just refused to return phone calls and messages.
