This home was amazing and every single detail was perfection! We had moved from California, so we were so very pleasantly surprised to find this quality at this price! After much research, this is the home we choose. > The Kitchen was gorgeous with all newest Kitchen Aid appliances, builtin Fridge, extra drink fridges, ceiling height gorgeous white cabinets, most amazing farm style industrial sink ever, and upgraded granite throughout, the whole 9 yards. Even our bathroom showers were absolutely perfect with both a rain head as well as a hand held and tiled to 11 ft ceilings and a bath fit for a princess! Tons of storage and custom lighting. The front porch was wonderful, the fireplace on the large screened porch was too cool as it over looked the forest. this was definitely our dream home! The builder, Alan, was very good to repair minor little things that all new homes have, such as nail pops etc, and they even touched up our paint at 1 year! wow!! Always on time, professional and friendly. If we did not have to move back to California we would have stayed forever. We made a great profit though and are still trying to duplicate many aspects of the home in CA. Sure wish they built like that out here. Needless to say, the meeting went better than expected as we absolutely love our Gray Line built home! There were about 10 custom builders to choose from in our neighborhood and without a doubt, Gray Line stands above the rest. Their attention to detail, use of subs, communication with the client, hands-on nature, and the team they have assembled makes what is a very stressful process, rewarding. From that first meeting, to breaking ground 4 months later, after having several meetings with Gray Line and the architect to design our home from the ground up, it was clear that while some "custom builders" are merely production style builders with the ability to customize, Gray Line is truly a full custom, create the client's vision, custom builder. Our home was started in early November 2012 and completed late May 2013. A massive undertaking at nearly 7000 square feet, they didn't miss a single detail and met with us on almost a daily basis to explain each step of the process including why certain construction they do is done a specific way, and what sets it apart from the rest. One of the most stressful parts of the process is selecting EVERYTHING in the home from granite to lighting to cabinets and on and on.........Without the help of their in house designer Amy, we would have never achieved the end result of our vision. Her talents are second to none and a huge asset to the team!
