New exterior house color** *(in Design Dilemma)* Any suggestions to update the exterior color? House is facing south, and it gets plenty of sunshine throughout the year. Thank you in advance! A: Restoration Hardware Graphite or Slate as the body color, low sheen, with Black trim on the gutters low sheen as well as front door but front door in high gloss and Benjamin Moore White Dove for the shutters in satin. Going lighter on the shutters will help soften the overall look with the darker tones. If next to the front door is shutters I would remove them. It looks very busy from the curb.
