> Joanne was very supportive throughout our whole home renovation project. She was my eyes and ears for many on site visits that were a challenge to navigate and organize given the ongoing pandemic.
> Joanne truly values her client’s happiness and satisfaction with the outcome of her projects. She is dedicated and is always available and approachable to help address any renovation “hiccups” that might come your way.
> As an added bonus, she is lots of fun to work with!

**Comment from Wow Great Place:**

> Awww! This is so sweet! You two were such fun to work with, despite the curse of the house!! Can’t wait to get pics of this project....it has been a joy to work with you, and get to know you as friends!

> Joanne did an EXCEPTIONAL job in every way! She is professional, kind, patient, creative and talented. I recommend her wholeheartedly! Joanne and her wonderful and talented assistant Karen worked tirelessly, on budget and on schedule. the quality of her work was impeccable and flawless. My aging mother found both Joanne and Karen delightful to work with and is thrilled with the outcome. Visitors to my mom's apartment are blown away by how gorgeous it is., My mom says she continues to be delighted every time she opens the door. Joanne is upbeat, professional and a top notch designer. Anybody who works with her with LOVE LOVE LOVE the process and the outcome!!!

> Joanne has been a part of our family for the past 3 years. It began with our basement renovation which consisted of completely redesigning the layout and supporting us in choosing the products. It then moved on to replacing stair railing and windows. Our last was the complete redesign of our main floor, including kitchen. She provided full floor plans which our contractor was very impressed with. I am certain I would not have my sanity today if it was not for Joanne. She was always there when I needed her and will definitely be the one who I will call for our upstairs bathroom. Thank you Joanne!! You’re awesome!!

> I’ve worked with Joanne for the last year from the planning stage to now almost completion of a custom home. She has been indispensable throughout the entire process. I really appreciate that she always tries to accommodate, even last minute meetings when needed. Couldn’t have done this without her! Amazing designer! Guided me through the entire process.

> This is our second project with WOW Great Place and what can we say about Joanne? She is extremely talented, professional and she is always available. Joanne is certainly one of the best in the business. Her experience was crucial to helps us through our major renovation project. Thank you Joanne!!!

> Joanne was instrumental in helping us get the maximum living space out of our existing footprint. We love our renovations! Thank you Wow Great Place!

**★★★★★ — Jenny W, Dec. 2018**

> This is our first home, and our first time going through a renovation project of this scale and Joanne was indispensable to our experience. She was vastly knowledgeable (from designing to choosing materials to the construction work itself), practical in her design, efficient with her time (we did 3 bathrooms/ a walk in closet/ front entrance/ stained floors/ painted the whole house in 2.5 months) and flexible to our needs. Moreover, she was extremely supportive, generous with her time, respectful and so much fun to work with. At times the project felt stressful, even overwhelming, and she never failed to re-assure us, to guide and to teach us, on a professional and personal level. Truly, finding Joanne to help us design and project manage the renovations of our new home was the biggest blessing. We could not have done this without her, and cannot ever imagine renovating the house in the future without her.

**Comment from Wow Great Place:**

> Wow! I wish they had a "love" button instead of a "like" button! You two were alot of fun to work with, I felt like a mama bear at times, nurturing you along the way and teaching you about design! LOL! And I am happy to get moving on the kitchen whenever you are ready for the next phase!

**★★★★★ — Kathleen McAdams, Dec. 2018**

> Joanne and her crew were outstanding. Friendly, professional and understanding, they worked with our budget to give us the best possible outcome. We are delighted with both rooms that she designed for us. Nothing we discussed was too much or too weird, we never felt that we were bothering her with our phone calls, and everyone involved in the project was exceptional. Last minute minor changes were quickly attended to and every detail was attended to. The entire team went above and beyond what we expected.
> Work with Wow Great Place - you won't be disappointed

**★★★★★ — miamimills, Oct. 2018**

> Working with Wow Great Place was the best decision we could have made! We had a huge project (floors, new kitchen, 2+ bathrooms, floor plan reconfigurations, closet & storage design, lighting, paint....you name it!). Everyone said it couldn’t be done in the time frame we set out; Joanne from Wow Great Place said she could make it happen AND SHE DID. She stayed in constant contact, was always available when needed and had some amazing and creative ideas. She was also there to talk me “down” when it got to be overwhelming. Her industry contacts were invaluable and she is an incredible at multitasking. She wears many hats and they all look great on her, but not as great as our new home now does!!!

**★★★★★ — Mykaela George - STIL Design, Jan. 2018**

> I have worked with Joanne on a handful of closet projects, small and large. Joanne takes the time to go through the project details with the client and myself to make sure all needs are met and the design is not only beautifully paired with the rest of the project, but functional. I would highly recommend Joanne and her design services.

**★★★★★ — Peter Evangelatos, Dec. 2017**

> Joanne helped us make our dream kitchen a reality!. Given that our kitchen renovation involved completely gutting our kitchen and re-configuring it, we really needed someone to guide us. Joanne was there for us every step of the way. She was extremely professional and very knowledgeable. We are very grateful to Joanne for all of her efforts and would highly recommend her. We could not have done this without her.

  - Location: Mont-Royal, QC
  - Photos: 43
  - Description: This typical 80s (maybe 90s?) bathroom needed an update for this busy couple, so we stole a little space from the master bedroom, and checked off all the boxes to make a more modern space the two of them would love!
- [Lily's Closet](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lily-s-closet-pj-vj~5921853)
  - Location: Brossard, QC
  - Photos: 14
  - Description: While this closet did not change shape, and already had pretty decent storage, it was rather out of date. We gave it a makeover, made the storage more functional, added drawers, a handy display space, improved the lighting, and eliminated the shiny paint on the ceiling!

  - Location: Montreal, QC
  - Photos: 17
  - Description: This laundry room started out as a regular room in a split level home, just off the garage, away from other bedrooms. It became a make-shift catch-all room, but the homeowner wished for a better laundry space, so we moved the laundry up from the basement, and turned this little-used room into a terrific laundry space!
- [Dog Friendly Front Entry](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/dog-friendly-front-entry-pj-vj~5496923)
  - Location: Pointe-Claire, QC
  - Photos: 5
  - Description: This generous sized front entry had loads of potential, but no matter what the family did, it always felt unfinished and cluttered. So we fixed that.

  - Location: Montreal, QC
  - Photos: 25
  - Description: This is one of our favourite ensuite projects. Fully custom cabinetry hides all sorts of details. And the new layout makes far more sense for the couple that uses this bathroom! AND we just won a design award for this bathroom project! DDA (Decorators & Designers Association of Canada) 2017 awards, announced April 24!

  - Description: Sometimes a kitchen is laid out just fine for a homeowner...but it is just really ugly! This was the case with this pink/white/mint green kitchen!
- [Sabrina's Bathroom](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/sabrina-s-bathroom-pj-vj~2374736)
  - Location: Montreal, QC
  - Photos: 14
  - Description: This generously sized ensuite bathroom had the tiniest little shower stall! It was all but begging us to tear it all out! So, we did!
- [Kristen's Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kristen-s-kitchen-pj-vj~2146098)
  - Location: Beaconsfield, QC
  - Photos: 34
  - Description: This kitchen was six years in the making! The previous homeowner, also a client of mine, sold this house before I could sink my teeth into his kitchen, despite having done several other rooms in this house! So when the new owners took possession, I knocked on their door (a cold call, just two days after they moved in!) and declared that I would like to blow up their kitchen. We met to review the design I had come up with several years before (for the previous homeowner!) and they loved the layou…

  - Location: Montreal, QC
  - Photos: 26
  - Description: This basement project was long overdue to morph from a kiddie basement, to a basement where the adults want to hang out, too! Custom built-in cabinetry around the TV with a new gas fireplace, a brand new wet bar area, and new sectional seating with a funky ottoman that actually converts into a double bed, brought this basement into this century! The LED lighting at the bar and in the built-ins can be controlled by a wall switch that allows you to change the colour of the lighting to suit your mo…
- [Westmount Living room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/westmount-living-room-pj-vj~2034346)
  - Location: Westmount, QC
  - Photos: 3
  - Description: Who wouldn't love all this extra storage in their living room? And that pendant! We fell in LOVE with the pendant!
- [Annemarie's Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/annemarie-s-kitchen-pj-vj~2028480)
  - Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
  - Photos: 17
  - Description: So this lovely little gem of a kitchen was quite the head scratcher! Scroll through the photos, and take a look at the before shots, we had quite a challenge to get this much storage and functionality into this little footprint, and we still managed to do it with barstools included! Now, it feels like this kitchen should have always been laid out this way!
- [NDG Long Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/ndg-long-kitchen-pj-vj~2024269)
  - Location: Montréal, QC
  - Photos: 29
  - Description: This long kitchen used to have a powder room separating the kitchen from the eating area at the back of the space, just in front of the big window. We tucked the powder room off to the left, no longer blocking the view out to the pool, and opened up the wall to the dining room with a peninsula.
- [NDG Powder Room](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/ndg-powder-room-pj-vj~2024284)
  - Location: Montréal, QC
  - Photos: 7
  - Description: This is the powder room that is in our "NDG Long Kitchen" project. The space was originally right smack in the middle of the kitchen, breaking up the kitchen from the eating area. When the kitchen was renovated, we moved the powder room closer to the patio door (easier access from the pool!) which then opened up the sight line in the kitchen. And the powder room got a fun treatment of shiny blue floor tiles and gorgeous, not for the faint of heart blue bubble tiles behind the toilet! A fun lovin…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Cual seria el precio sugerido** *(in Photo Questions)*

Que tipo de materiales se usan

A: This is a quartz countertop, wood cabinets, and a porcelain floor. which material are you asking about

**Q: Shaving Niche** *(in Photo Questions)*

What are the dimensions of the leg shaving Niche?

A: Hi there! we made this a finished width of 13” and a height of 4” (after tiling, so rough size of the opening was wider and taller.)

**Q: What is the dimensions please?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell us the dimensions of the powder room?

A: Hi Lisa!
this space was 36” wide by approx 6 1/2 feet long (those floor tiles are 2” squares, to give you an idea)

**Q: What size is this cabinet?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What size is this cabinet?

A: This was approximately 7-feet wide.

**Q: interested in wall color** *(in Photo Questions)*

what wall color did you use here ? thanks

A: Hi there! Thanks for the question, but this project was completed several years ago. I no longer have that info on file. It was a Benjamin Moore colour, however, if that helps to at least narrow down the brand. It is a soft grey-green, but I would be guessing as to the actual colour name. Sorry about that!

**Q: What are the dimensions of the shower space?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I am removing a corner tub and am planning on this same design using a curbless shower door and a wall separating the toilet? Any suggestions re: best wall dimensions would be helpful too..
Thank you

A: This was fully customized, so we decided on shower size based on the space, 36” wide for the toilet area, and approx 36” high pony wall beside the toilet. There are no “standards” in terms of dimensions, it all depends on the available space (though you do need at LEAST a 30” wide area for the toilet so you aren’t smacking a hip when you sit) lol
