> A good architect should be inspired, consistent, thoughtful, helpful, and aware of the bottom line. Jeff Troyer checks off all of these boxes. He was a steady hand, working with my wife and I on the plans for our home for over a year (we had small children, it took us time), and then on the renovation for our home for another year. Jeff was able to see around corners, meaning that he was able to figure out problems before they became apparent to us and was really great as a mediator between us and our contractor. We've not heard from other friends of any other architect/firm that is as involved as JWT Associates. Jeff was with us every step of the way, from the design process, to reviewing bids, interviewing potential contractors, weekly site visits, to picking tile, paint, drawers pulls and lighting fixtures. We gladly give him our highest recommendation. JWT Associates improved our home tremendously, and kept out budget from spiraling out of of control in the process. -Eric & Lucy Schmidt, Los Angeles, CA

> Mr. Troyer completed a large project at our school over the summer that everyone involved was thrilled with! His level of professionalism and eye for a well-designed, clean aesthetic were appreciated as our school grounds were transformed from old blacktop to a gorgeous, park-like atmosphere for the students. Thank you!

> Our kitchen was quarter of a century tired. We hired JWT Assocaites after seeing Jeff transform a neighbor's home. Their kitchen became our dream kitchen. Two requests: no structural changes and we keep our wall-size cork board. Jeff honored our input - never tried to convince us otherwise. My husband and I fell in love with a floor pattern of reclaimed marble because it had a soul. Jeff brought in his trusted contractor. The room was gutted in a day. We started at the bottom and worked up. Jeff created height by taking cabinets to ceiling. He created space by substituting a few cabinets with a built-in desk and decorative shelving. Lastly, he designed a handsome table to replace our old heavy island. Instant airiness. A corny existing garden window got the Heave Ho. Jeff crafted a simple casement window in keeping with our Spanish architecture. The new kitchen feels like we're floating on a cloud. It looks bigger. We definitely gained more storage space. That fact mystifies me. Jeff weaves fun with seriousness. He makes his clients feel smart. He's good-humored about fielding curve balls. He's a great hand-holder. Proof of a breezy, creative spirit who loves what he does The renovation exceeded our expeditions. Thank you, Jeff.

> My husband and I were fortunate enough to coincidentally come across this company while browsing Houzz.com. I was impressed with the latest remodel completed by Jeff Troyer and how he had maintained the charm and integrity of the house but provided the owners with the space they needed. We were interested in remodeling our three bedroom Spanish style house. After our first meeting with Jeff, we were impressed with Jeff's creativity and respect for authenticity of design, as well as how forthright he was in answering our questions.
>
> Jeff's design for the remodel of our house was excellent. It was innovative and visionary. Jeff is very skilled at making efficient use of space in his designs. This was a complex project. We added a room and a bathroom and completely re-designed the back of the house, remodeling two existing rooms, a bathroom, and the kitchen and mud room in the process. Jeff listened to our thoughts, ideas and concerns and made the design fit our life and our needs. We gained a brand new home with more space, but maintained the charm of the original style. Throughout the remodeling, Jeff went above and beyond his scope of work to make sure everything was running smoothly and to make this remodel easy for us. He maintained open communication with us and was quick to return calls and emails and to address our concerns. We could not be happier with the finished house. As for the cost, Jeff projected the budget very closely and helped us find more cost efficient options where needed. There were no surprises.
>
> I highly recommend JWT Associates. Jeff Troyer is an incredibly talented architect, not to mention a great guy, and it was truly a pleasure to work with him.

> We hired JWT Associates to completely remodel our four bedroom, four bathroom house. Jeff was a joy to work with from start to finish and we couldn’t be happier with our new home. He asked questions, listened to our ideas and expertly integrated our vision with his. It’s rare to find people who are both visionary as well as detail oriented but Jeff excels in both areas. Throughout the process, he was extremely responsive, a great communicator, and most importantly, an excellent problem solver. He tackled numerous and sometimes complicated design problems with creativity, professionalism, and humor.
>
> Most of all, Jeff is a great guy and we loved getting to know him. We hired him without reservation because we knew we had found someone special, but it was while working with him that we came to appreciate just how remarkable he really is. We would recommend Jeff to anyone, and would love the opportunity to work with him again.

> Brilliant! Jeff is a master at his craft and has the unique ability to transform your vision into a reality. His talent, professionalism and integrity combined with his calm demeanor and friendliness make for a positive and enjoyable experience. We could not recommend someone more highly.

> We hired JWT Associates to be our architect on a kitchen project. What we got was someone with an eye on our bottom line as well as fine details of design that could not have dreamed of. Jeff Troyer reimagined our home without adding square footage. Our California cottage is now 100% more functional and it's beautiful. We had guests for the holidays who could not (1) believe it was the same house and (2) couldn't believe we hadn't added space. He stayed true to the history of our home but made it more inviting, improved flow and gave us the entertaining space we yearned for. I would highly recommend Jeff and JWT Associates. They have incredible vision and integrity.

> Jeff is remarkable. We contacted him 5 months prior to the birth of our first child with a big job - a remodel of nearly the entire upstairs of our Hollywood Hills home - all before the baby came. He was attentive, resourceful, creatively solved tricky problems with our home layout, managed a fair amount of bureaucracy (the project required multiple permits and our home is in a historical preservation zone) and was an absolute pleasure throughout. The project was significant and involved fully remodeling 3 bathrooms, 4 closets, two hallways and a balcony. He served as the architect, general designer and tile designer on the project. Nearly everyone who visits our home effusively praises the work that he and our contractor did, noting how seamlessly it integrates with the original spirit of the home. We enjoyed working with (and getting to know) Jeff so much that we recently hired him again to design a new kitchen, rear entry and powder room. The designs are fantastic and we're excited to start the job.
