We met with our designer and shared our desires for the space as well as some pictures and let them get to work. Our designer proposed several options for layout and worked with us to tweak the design until we were happy. She also provided several options every time we needed to select finishes, which let us control the look and feel throughout the process. We worked with them from concept to design and even construction. It was great to have such a full service option so that we didn't have to coordinate contraction or handle unexpected surprises. We loved that we didn't have to look through hundreds of choices for tiles and cabinets: Cory presented us with just a few high quality selections. We worked with Jeff Kaper throughout the project management/construction phase. He kept the project moving, managed all of the people coming in and out of the house, and kept the project in budget. Jeff is a pleasure to work with -- he listens and pays attention to each detail. We felt that the communication with/among the contractors could have been improved, and the project took longer than projected, but we are very happy with the new kitchen. We couldn't have been happier with working with Cory or the outcome of the renovations, which were beautiful, on time, and in budget. During the design phase, Cory provided us with design ideas that matched our aesthetic and budget, worked quickly to make any requested adjustments, and suggested innovative solutions and ideas to improve the functionality and look of our house. Cory also oversaw the renovation itself, including hiring and overseeing the contractors (who were also really great), managing the timeline, and ensuring that the work was done properly. As we were not in town during the renovations, I truly don't know what we would have done without Cory - he kept us up to speed on progress, got our input on any decisions that needed to be made, and was willing to meet with us in person or chat on the phone whenever necessary.
