CCB Designs teams with custom home builders and architects on new builds and works with redesigning lived-in spaces. CCB Designs had projects featured on Austin's American Institute for Architects (AIA) and the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Greater Austin tours and designed the 2013-2014 Home Builder Association of Greater Austin's Benefit Home with a portion of proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House Project and Dell's Children's Hospital.

CCB Designs' specialty is collaborating with homeowners, architects, and contractors on Custom Home Interiors, whether New Build or Remodel. Austin is a hub for varying design styles, so CCB has worked with Mid Century Modern, French Country, Texas Hill Country, and Transitional designs. While I enjoy all of these styles, the Farmhouse and Soft Industrial styles are my favorites. I enjoy incorporating vintage and reclaimed fixtures and materials into projects.

### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Tamara Rezler, Dec. 2015**

> Chris has worked with me with multiple projects - most recently a refresh of our master bedroom. This was particularly challenging (and Chris was up for it!) because we (she) needed to combine my husband's very formal taste (keeping paintings, furniture and rugs) with my more transitional taste. The project included paint selection, window coverings - and an installation solution - to meet both functional requirements and design requirements, reupholstery of chairs (and fabric selection) as well as selection of coordinating bedding fabrics for custom bedding. Chris expertly navigated my husband/my tastes and found fabrics and solutions that we are both absolutely delighted with. She is a trusted advisor who listens to her clients and meets their requirements, matches their tastes - AND their budgets - and exceeds expectations. She is also expert at managing expectations along the way - keeping clients informed of potential bumps in the road - so that there are no unwanted surprises. She has formed partnerships with craftspeople that deliver impeccable quality products. We are ecstatic with our beautiful finished room and I'm already planning the next house project with Chris!

**Comment from CCB Designs:**

> Thank you so much, tamararez! I thrive on a challenge and combining your and your husband's taste was just that - a challenge with beautiful results! Let me know when you are ready to take on the Living Room/Kitchen area!

**★★★★★ — Katz Builders, Inc., Dec. 2015**

> Principal owner Chris Browarski has come very highly recommend to Katz Builders by several of her past homeowners, a few of them we know personally. Chris brings years of experience to our clients addition/remodel. We started the design process in August of 2015. Chris has a terrific attitude and is making the decision process as simple as possible. A very good quality she has is that she is very sensitive to the budget that is presented to her. She listens to our clients to hear what they want and brings the samples to them, rather than our client having to go from one showroom after the other, looking at different products to find "just the right item". Being a working couple with young children, the proactive steps that Chris takes make the decision process less painful and streamlined. We can see the project coming together and are eager to see the finished results.

**★★★★★ — Lori Atkins, Dec. 2015**

> Chris has been a great resource for designing our house. She was involved in the design of the home when the builder completed the house and we hired her when we brought the house. She has been extremely helpful and stayed within our budget. Everyone who has seen the house has been impressed.
>
> Thanks Chris for all your help.

> I’m very, very glad I chose Chris of CCB Designs to guide me through the selections of all the finishes for our “extreme makeover” remodel project (paint colors, floor tiles, shower enclosures, counter tops, back splash, light fixtures, etc.) She was willing to be very flexible her level of involvement in the project. When the project started, I thought I had a good idea of what I wanted. After an initial get-acquainted session to get the overall feel and style of the house, Chris did a good job of introducing me to options for me to consider that were a little “outside the box” for me – then she gave me time to look around on my own before coming up with final selections. She has good contacts with all the suppliers. She was not at all pushy with her ideas. With her encouragement, my vision evolved and I am very pleased with the final result. Shopping for tile, lights, etc. with Chris was like shopping with a friend. I highly recommend Chris – whether you are looking for a more “turn-key” designer service or just guidance on what to consider and where to look.

**Comment from CCB Designs:**

> Thank you for the wonderful feedback! The feeling of 'designing with a friend' is a goal for each of my client's to feel. Remodels and new build projects are stressful enough without including a 'pushy designer'!

**★★★★★ — mcbasnight, Dec. 2015**

> CCB is reliable, timely & professional. CCB worked within my budget. I am happy with the quality of work provided by CCB and their partners.

**Comment from CCB Designs:**

> Thank you! This client and I focused on window treatments - custom curtain and shutters - for her newly built home. Her home is comfortably complete now!

**★★★★★ — Marsha Garcia, Nov. 2014**

> Chris at CCB Designs helped design my entire new condo. She was very patient and helpful in finding the right furniture and accessories for our house.

**★★★★★ — kylabeth80, Sept. 2014**

> Chris did a great job of helping us choose finishes that we love. She found reputable contractors, made sure all completed work met high standards, and went above and beyond to problem-solve. We love the end product! Additionally, she is very sweet and friendly.

**Comment from CCB Designs:**

> Kyla - It was a pleasure preparing your new Austin home for you while you still lived in New York City. We were a great team making selections via email and the end result was Farmhouse Fabulous!

**★★★★ — staceyquis, Sept. 2014**

> Absolutely loved working with Chris as we made choices for our new home. She is a creative thinker, with a realistic grasp of what can be accomplished within budget and time constraints. Chris was a good listener, as well as a good advisor. We are so pleased with our new home, and Chris was instrumental in helping make it happen.

**Comment from CCB Designs:**

> Stacey - I love the French Country inspiration of your home - the end result is so warm and inviting! My favorite aspect is the flooring - vintage-looking white oak in wide plank! Thank you and best regards!

**★★★★★ — jillpenna8802, Sept. 2014**

> I have worked with Chris on several remodeling projects in my house, the latest being my bathrooms. She has a good sense about my style and helps me zero in on materials that are beautiful, good quality and in my price range. I have also appreciated her assistance with design and paint choices. Chris is a pleasure to work with.

**★★★★★ — Jenifer Flaxbart, Dec. 2013**

> It all started with a simple consult in 2009. Several projects later, Chris' vision has helped us transform central gathering spaces our home and the way our family utilizes them, every day.
>
> Each time, working with Chris Browarski of CCB Designs has been a rewarding, collaborative experience. She has led three successful projects for us: a family room addition, a makeover for my office at work, and most recently, a kitchen remodel. The kitchen was taken down to the studs and rebuilt from there in 2012. I spend most of my time in that space when at home, and each time I enter my beautiful new kitchen, my heart rejoices at its look, feel and functionality.
>
> Chris has a knack for pulling my nebulous suggestions into a cohesive plan and for finding the right selections at the right prices.
>
> She's got a great eye for color and design, and a keen ear when it comes to listening to what I think I want and what I know I like. It's obvious that she retains these tidbits when she reveals her design concepts because everything it's possible to include is there, but better! And she's cognizant of the costs involved in making even minor improvements and does a fabulous job of canvasing multiple sources to find remarkable options at the best price points.
>
> She created true vision where we could see only what existed. She met patiently with us as we brainstormed, tweaked concepts and selections based on our feedback, and when builders and architects became involved, was there to represent our interests and remain informed.
>
> We recommend Chris and CCB Designs without reservation. From staging to full remodels, Chris invests herself in her work, and it shows!

**★★★★★ — jlhardwick, Dec. 2013**

> Chris Browarski is currently working with us on our kitchen remodel. She is a great resource, providing guidance and creative ideas during the decision making process while being respectful of our preferences and tastes. She has helped us think outside the box in repurposing rooms. She has been a patient and calming presence throughout the stress of making major decisions. She has helped us move through the process with confidence that our kitchen will be beautiful. Chris is professional, knowledgable, and fun to work with. We look forward to working with her on other remodeling projects!

**★★★★★ — Casa Sereno Homes LLC, Oct. 2013**

> Chris has helped with the decorating choices on my last 2 homes. The homes sold quickly and with wonderful comments on her decorating choices from everyone who toured the homes. She is easy to work with, knowledgeable and I look forward to many more projects with her.

**Comment from CCB Designs:**

> Thanks so much, John and Lesley - a true pleasure working with you all!
