### Reviews

**★★★★★ — Barbara C - P, Dec. 2020**

> Andrea Pace is a consummate professional whose talent & experience makes her worth her weight in gold. A patient listener, Andrea kept asking the right questions until what I really desired in a kitchen remodel was uncovered.
>
> After our initial visit, we hit the COVID times of limited contact. Despite this, Andrea found a way for us to work together to complete the renovation. We communicated effectively through text and emails - once, using an effective combination of FaceTime and taking/sending photos for ideal hardware placement.
>
> Andrea understood what we were looking for in aesthetics - and designed a kitchen that was not only beautiful to our tastes, but also functional - she was pragmatic and honest with us about when not to cut corners, yet found ways to help us make the most of our investment budget.
>
> Andrea provided not only the beautiful and functional design, she suggested the perfect “what I didn’t know I wanted” choices for cabinets, tile, appliances, colors, hardware, windows, and the myriad details that elevate a good remodel into a room that is a harmony of space, function, and decor.
>
> We couldn’t be happier about our kitchen renovation, and know exactly who to contact when we’re ready for our next project.

**Comment from Andrea Bartholick Pace Interior Design:**

> Many thanks for your trust, Barbara, and for this lovely review. It was a joy working with you and your husband on your remodel during shelter in place. And more than anything, I’m so pleased you two are happy with your new kitchen!

> Andrea did a fantastic job on decorating our new home in Pebble Beach. The house had some design challenges but from the beginning Andrea had a vision and seamlessly worked within our budget. She delivered an appropriate solution at a fair price within the designated timeframe.

**★★★★★ — Florence Reidy, Aug. 2017**

> Andrea has done a wonderful job. She was able to visualize my ideas and bring together a look that I was unable to articulate. Andrea was very considerate of my preferences and understood the aspects of decorating that did not come naturally to me. She made the process easy, and in the end my personal sitting room was truly more than even I was able to imagine. She is now helping us redo and update our master bath. I can't wait!

**★★★★★ — Lisa Barnett, Dec. 2016**

> We bought a historical home built in 1839 which had an addition built in the late 1980's doubling the size of the house. The kitchen that existed was too small for the house. We wanted help in creating a new kitchen that would have all the modern luxuries while maintaining the look and feel of the historical home. Andrea was critical in this process. We could not have done it without her! Her expertise and attention to detail were exceptional. We are absolutely pleased with the end result and look forward to her help on other design projects throughout the house.

**Comment from Andrea Bartholick Pace Interior Design:**

> Thank you so much Lisa! Here are some images taken during construction:

> Andrea is a rare joy to work with.
> She is truly a multi-talented design professional with excellent taste and fabulous resources. Her knowledge & professionalism is second to none.
> I have collaborated with Andrea on several projects; and she never ceases to amaze me with her extraordinary sense of style, color, and composition. I highly recommend her services to those who seek truly professional results!

**★★★★★ — S M, Feb. 2016**

> Andrea gained our confidence from day one. The 40 year old home we had recently purchased was in desperate need of a remodel; the last update was 25 years ago. From the start Andrea was able to make sense out of the basic floor plan and visualize the possibilities. Andrea created detailed plans, in particular outlining where an two existing walls could be partially eliminated, thus opening up the kitchen to the adjacent dining room, and the living room to a sunroom. The existing (chopped up) South facing windows were enlarged to provide less obstruction and open up the house to the view that was a key factor in our decision to purchase the property. Andrea was instrumental in choosing all finishes: updated wall treatments, casework, front door colors, lighting, carpets, and furnishings,. By providing an array of choices, Andrea made our job of selection much easier. Andrea paid close attention to our needs and desires and created spaces that turned our home into a wonderful, upbeat, and very comfortable home

**★★★★★ — Regency Construction Company, Inc., Oct. 2015**

**★★★★★ — Nancy Shanley, Oct. 2015**

> I hired Andrea to help me furnish several rooms in a large house. This would have been an overwhelming project without her help. I've worked with interior designers in the past, but I found Andrea to be one of the best and most talented.
>
> Andrea is very creative and has a great sense of style. She starts by looking at the whole space, its function, and the surroundings. She then works closely with her client to understand their tastes, desires, and expectations for the room/project. If a client is not sure what they want, she will provide plenty of great ideas and options, until she's confident that her client is excited and pleased with the plan.
>
> She has a wealth of experience selecting furniture styles, upholstery fabrics, carpets, draperies, and art work that uniquely fit a space, work with the interior and exterior architecture, and harmonize with the surroundings. Andrea works very hard to make sure that her room creations are exactly what the client wants and suits their lifestyle. I think one of Andrea's greatest talents is her sense of spacial relationships. She's fantastic at sizing furniture properly for both the space, and for the comfort of her clients. She's also exceptional with color, pattern, and texture harmony. Her completed rooms always look balanced and well-harmonized, right down to the tiniest detail.
>
> Andrea is great to work with, has an enjoyable personality, and she's flexible with changing plans. I not only recommend her services, but would definitely use her again for my own decorating needs. I'm thrilled with the chic, elegant rooms she created for us so masterfully!

**★★★★★ — Maya Rizzo, Sept. 2014**

> Andrea Bartholick Pace stated that she wanted to create a master bathroom sanctuary as part of our home renovation. She did exactly that. She created a modern but classic, clean, airy, calming room with beautiful organic features, materials and colors. We are so pleased with the results. She linked us with an excellent contractor, Caribou Construction, that provided superior quality workmanship. The project was seamless and our lives were minimally disrupted. We trusted her experience, amazing eye for design, focus on precision, perfection and practicality. We love our sanctuary master bathroom. Let her fly and you will not be disappointed.

**★★★★★ — karenoc, Nov. 2013**

> Andrea and I have been sharing Ideabooks on Houzz for our "Colton Cottage" ever since we decided to renovate our 1940's home. Andrea's strength as a designer is in her ability to combine historically correct design with beautiful and comfortable finishes and furnishings.

**Comment from Andrea Bartholick Pace Interior Design:**

> Thank you, Karen! This project is truly a gem, and we're beyond happy that we get to work with you on your new old home.

> I have worked with Andrea for 14 years. She is a very talented designer and great to work with. Andrea is a perfectionist that believes in a team approach to projects. Some of my best photographs are of her projects. Her design style is contemporary and elegant finding unique solutions for each space.

**Comment from Andrea Bartholick Pace Interior Design:**

> Thank you, Rick! You are great to work with and know how to get the most amazing shots in the most difficult of circumstances.

**★★★★★ — traceyladams, Feb. 2013**

> I am an artist, who has been commissioned several times, to create site-specific art for Andrea's clients. Andrea has been a delight, easy to work with, very supportive of my art and always professional, I wish I could clone her!

  - Description: This 9,000 SF custom Pebble Beach residence was newly constructed prior to my client's purchase. I was honored to have the opportunity to furnish these stunning spaces including six bedrooms, a library and media room. We painted the architectural trim and glazed the kitchen cabinets to soften the tones. Since this home has views of the ocean, I chose a soft green kelp color palette for the main living areas accented with ochre and terra cotta. For the living room we commissioned two local artist…

  - Location: Carmel, CA

  - Description: This 80s outdated home had not been remodeled in over 20+ years (see before shots). My clients bought this property high above Carmel for the stunning views of Point Lobos. We simplified all large windows, remodeled the kitchen, breakfast nook and bathrooms, added new white oak floors throughout, re-styled the living room fireplace, resurfaced the exterior decks in a large scale raw concrete tile and added all new lighting, finishes, paint and hardware. We also restyled the front entry with a ne…

  - Description: This Carmel Meadows home was originally built in 2000. Our client liked the bones and setting of the home, but desired a complete transformation to a softer romantic style. We changed the color of all architectural woodwork, replaced the window treatments, all new chandeliers and sconces, added sisal area rugs and transformed the heavy red and green interior to a subtle palette, designed custom upholstery in pale linens, and added Gustavian antiques from Sweden. - Photos: 12
  - Description: When our client purchased this 1940's cottage in the historic Peter's Gate neighborhood of Old Monterey, they inherited a bad 80s remodel that had been added to the back of the home. We gutted the old blue kitchen and converted the space into an airy dining room with a built-in hutch. The existing family room with tile floors and sliding glass doors became a spacious kitchen with wood floors, a large central island and a walk in pantry/laundry room. By pushing a portion of the back wall out 3 fe…
