They are extremely prompt and professional, yet down to earth and personable. Josh and Natsuko, best of luck and fortune to you on your marvelous travels through life! **★★★★★ — tcarter4523, Aug. 2015** > My wife hired Yoko to update our very tired 1990's kitchen. Yoko is very easy to work with and very talented in what she does. Yoko's style is to create a calm and serene environment by using clean lines and a contemporary aesthetic. I was very appreciative of her understanding our budget and working within those parameters. She really listens to the client and she designs around the client's ideas even when they are different from what she had suggested originally. It was just the right mix of her giving us ideas and steering us towards what would look good and getting the result we wanted. Actually, the result surpassed my expectation. > > Yoko has an excellent team to work with. We worked with her painter ,plumber, and Quartz countertop installer. They are prompt, professional, and leave the jobsite extremely clean even during the height of the demolition phase. We had an excellent experience with Yoko and I am sure you will too. We have already contracted with Yoko for our next project. **★★★★★ — Yoko Oda Interior Design, Feb. 2015** > Josh and Natsuko created a video of my company's projects about a year ago. They were awesome to work with! They have great attention to detail and were very creative in their work. I felt that I selected the right team of people to create my company's video. During the video shoot, Josh was professional and fun, and asked the right questions to capture true characters of myself and my clients. > > I have received many compliments from my past and future clients on the quality and creativity of the video. I knew Chibi Moku did wonderful work, but they definitely exceeded my expectations! I will definitely keep in contact with Chibi Moku for future videos! I highly recommend Chibi Moku. **★★★★★ — Divine Nature Landscape Design, Oct. 2014** > It was more then I had hoped for. They are just amazing to work with. The amount of talent and energy they have was over the top!!! > I had no idea after the long hot day we spent, with the both of them running around between two of my jobs... making sure they didn't miss a thing that my video would have turned out so amazing!!! > I will definitely have them do additional videos for me when they are back in the area and would highly recommend them to anyone. > Thank you so much!!! **★★★★ — Julie Orr Design, Oct. 2014** > Simply wonderful. I am very please with my company video and still images. While I was hoping for more of a "process" video to explain to people my unique way of designing landscapes, they gave me something far more powerful and meaningful. I think the video they created speaks to the essence of what I do without feeling like a sales pitch in anyway. I would hire them again in an instant....I'm a fan. **★★★★★ — Vee Horticulture, Sept. 2014** > Joshua and Natsuko are a competent, fun and creative team that made for a wonderful experience and a fabulous result! > > When we started working together, I had specific ideas about what I was looking to create in a video and I felt that Chibi Moku totally GOT IT- as in, we had a creative mind meld. Before we began, I was concerned that who I am as a designer might not come through in a way that felt authentic and grounded to me. No worries, these two are smart and focused and I think they nailed it! > > The combination of relaxed fun and exuberant professionalism made working with them a pleasure. > > Three cheers for Chibi Moku!!! **★★★★★ — Elemental Design Group, Sept. 2014** > Joshua and Natsuko of Chibi Moku are the best! They created an amazing video for my organization, Elemental Design Group. When i was first introduced to their work, I recognized their talent and passion and knew that i had to engage with them. I am so happy that i did because i love, love, love my video. They not only see the big picture, they captured my essence and were able to show the best of me and my work in just over 4 minutes. I highly recommend their services to any discerning designer who is considering videography for their organization. I also want to add that the high level photography will be all over Houzz! Thank you Joshua and Natsuko, you exceeded my expectations, and believe me, they were set very high! **★★★★★ — Go Green, Sept. 2014** > We would give them 10 stars if we could. Joshua and Natsuko are the best architectural videographers we have ever worked with! The process was quick, easy, clean and attractive. With our new video, we are easily able to embed it on our website, share on Facebook, our blog, and other social media outlets. Having a video that shows your recent work in such a fabulous and "new" way is a game changer for a business that wants to grow. Stop reading reviews and call them now! **★★★★★ — Orange Innovation Inc., Aug. 2014** > I hired Joshua and Natsuko minutes after watching their youtube marketing email. I was sold by the level of energy and desire to unique creation. They surpassed my expectations on every level. From time management, through professionalism on site, great communication skills, and a super quality video. > I wish they where local so I could hire them repeatedly for each one of my projects! > Sam Shoshana > Orange Innovation Inc. > Malibu Lake, CA **★★★★★ — Seacliff Construction & Design, Aug. 2014** > We are very impressed with the quality and spirit of this wonderful cinematography team! We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with them, and the results are fantastic! So glad we hired them to shoot our Aptos Beach Remodel! **★★★★★ — Inland Architects, Aug. 2014** > Our office hired Joshua and Natsuko in May of 2014 to film and photograph a contemporary house which we wanted to add to our portfolio. We were hoping to capture the overall feel and look of the house, it’s artwork, the furnishings and also the landscape. > > From the beginning to the end of the project, they were professional, they totally respected the house and the privacy of our clients. Both Joshua and Natsuko were great to work with…they put their high energy and passion into our project for sure. > > The work was completed in a timely manner and exceeded our expectations. The video they produced accurately (and often even better than real life) captured the qualities of the house. The selection of music and editing was top notch. They made our project look amazing…well worth the value. > > Sam Wilson **★★★★★ — Semihandmade, Aug. 2014** > We were referred to Chibi Moku from a friend and couldn’t be more pleased with the results! > > Joshua and Natsuko were a pleasure to work with – smart, organized, professional. Best of all, though, we loved their fun and exuberance! The passion they brought to our project from day one was nothing short of inspiring. We love all the behind-the-scene shots of our guys hard at work and think it does an amazing job really showing what we are about here at Semihandmade (hint: IKEA doors!). > > The video has only been out about a week but the response so far has been fantastic. We look forward to their next trip to LA and have already started planning our next adventure together! > > John McDonald/Semihandmade > semihandmadedoors.com ## Selected projects - [Scottsdale, Arizona \| Bridgeview \| Brent Kendle](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/scottsdale-arizona-bridgeview-brent-kendle-pj-vj~6559093) - Location: Scottsdale, AZ - Photos: 5 - Description: See the video for this project here - https://youtu.be/EP1vyfcSciY - [Kailua, Hawaii \| Hale Kilo I’a \| H1+FN Design Build Collaborative](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/kailua-hawaii-hale-kilo-ia-h1-fn-design-build-collaborative-pj-vj~2013978) - Location: Kailua, HI - Photos: 15 - [Seltisberg, Switzerland \| Swiss Simplicity \| WPArch](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/seltisberg-switzerland-swiss-simplicity-wparch-pj-vj~2279073) - Location: Seltisberg, BL - Photos: 15 - [Miami, FL - E11EVEN - Miami's Newest Exclusive Nightclub](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/miami-fl-e11even-miami-s-newest-exclusive-nightclub-pj-vj~459474) - Location: Miami, FL - Photos: 21 - Description: This nightclub just opened Feb 7, 2014. Can you tell me the materia? Is it limestone?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: The general contract was Jones Clayton Construction for the project. They would be the best to ask about the details of the floor. **Q: CAN this be affordable housing** *(in Photo Questions)* how much does, have solar, and is sustainable. A: Please contact Axt Architekten for any questions related to this building. Thanks! Chibi Moku **Q: Quick question?** *(in Photo Questions)* Amazing design! What is the length and width of this house? A: Best to ask Inland Architects...they are the ones who could answer this for you. **Q: type of stone cladding** *(in Photo Questions)* what the type of stone cladding? Thank you. A: Sorry...we are not sure. **Q: Complete home makeover - Rustic to Contemporary Wow !** *(in Before & After)* Drs' Eng contacted me to rescue them from their own renovation. A wonderful couple who has great tastes, ideas, culture, love for travel and art. However, even with all that amazing quality, they have been struggling for a year to design and renovate their home...mostly due to conflicting likes, ideas, details, finishes, material and conceptual knowledge. Admitting that they wasted time and money doing this on their own. They just needed the right professional to pull it together, put them in the right direction and finally have their dream home ! They and their talented young daughters were both my design inspiration. Culture, travel and art.....we were both on the same page. They were enthusiastic on everything I proposed to them. I reused some of their existing pieces, upgraded them, then added new and exciting materials. See the staircase below, before and after. The wallpaper was made to order from one of my favorite suppliers from Italy...it reflects the Stained glass window of the Cathedral of Chartre, one of the most beautiful and largest Cathedral in France (biggest in Europe). They love to Travel so I brought them a little bit of my adoptive country ! Please see the rests of the home through this link: http://www.houzz.com/projects/1606992/ladera-ranch-california-92694 A: Peggy...ah! Handrail is still coming in. :) **Q: Do you know what wood option this is?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Goto Semihandmade.com to see through all of their options. We are not exactly sure which this one is. --- *Source: Houzz professional profile. Reflects the profile as of 2026-11-06.*
