**Q: These cabinets were stained or painted?** *(in Photo Questions)*

The description says they were stained but they clearly look painted.

A: Hello Angel,  Thanks for the question on this picture.  These Medallion Cabinets are offered with an Opaque Stain finish option.  Sometimes referred to as Semi-solid or Opaque stain, this finish allows for wood grain texture to come thru, however, covers the wood with a solid color.  We typically see these types of stains used on heavier textured woods, such as oak or hickory.  Check out Medallion Cabinetry's website for more finish colors and availability. Cheers.

**Q: What is they name of the countertop selection?  Backsplash tile?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Does anyone know the material and name of the countertop?  Also, the backsplash?

A: Hello Laynawal! Thank you for your question! 
The Countertop is a quartzite called Fantasy Brown Light & the subway tile Backsplash is Ashley Collection in color Luminous tile by Best Tile / East Coast Tile.

**Q: Cabinet design and ceiling height** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like this cabinet design.  Is this a 8' ceiling with 42" cabinets that you decided to stack them next to the fridge, or is this a 9' ceiling with 54" cabinets that has a mixture of single 54" cabinets and a stacked cabinet next to the fridge?  Thanks!

A: Hello J G,

Thank you for your interest in our design - it was a very fun and unique project with those tall ceilings! In this kitchen we were working with a 9' ceiling and used 48" high cabinets with stacked molding above to reach the ceiling. The two cabinets you see next to the left of the refrigerator are stacked. The bottom is a 45"w x 18"h and the top is 45"w x 30"h. Hope this helps!

**Q: I like where you've placed the dishwasher.** *(in Photo Questions)*

Did you have to get plumbing installed for the dishwasher? If so, was it costly?

A: Hello denisejk35, Sorry for the delay.  Yes, we hada licensed plumber on this project.  I would have to say, it probably added $300-$400 additional costs to have the DW in the island instead of directly to the side of the sink base.  With such a small space, we had to get creative on appliance locations.  Cheers. David Landry.

The paint color of these cabinets is called Oyster with a Cognac glaze.

A: Hi Kitchpit.  That faucet was supplied by the client. Although I don't have the exact finish color, it looked to be in the satin bronze family.  Cheers!
