All the backsplashes seem to fancy for a rustic painted wood. Any ideas of what direction to go. The cabinets are glass front with old black hardware. A: A rustic tile backsplash may fit the bill. Something like a neutral tile in a brick pattern. Solid wood expands and contracts with temperature and moisture more than MDF.
