> I can unequivocally recommend Structural Associates as a contractor for construction and subsequent maintenance of high end homes. My wife and I could not be more pleased with the home that Structural built for us in Snowmass, Colorado. We felt that the price was very fair for this market and the workmanship is superb. But our appreciation for Structural goes far beyond the construction process and the extraordinary craftsmanship. Throughout the process, not an easy one in the Aspen market, we had complete confidence in Stuctural’s integrity and commitment to represent our interests. They frequently provided thoughtful suggestions for savings and represented us as trusted partners in negotiations with sub contractors and other suppliers.
>
> We have now lived in our home for 15 years and continue to be pleased with the construction and operation of the home. Moreover, Structural’s after construction maintenance and follow up is superb. They know our home well and are always available for upgrades , improvements and updates as required. And are consistently responsive to our requests.
>
> There “may” be contractors in the Roaring Fork Valley as good as Structural, I doubt that there is anyone better.

> Renovating an existing home can be every bit as complex and difficult as building a new one, so an owner's relationship with the builder is crucial in both cases. Throughout the 2+ years required to complete the renovation of my home, Structural Associates worked closely with me, my architect, city & country officials and various subcontractors to achieve my goals. Communication with the firm was consistently open and candid and I found working with Structural Associates an important part of the project's success - BOTH with my original house, which was built 25 years ago, as well as the remodel which was done three years ago.
>
> BUT - equally important - has been the maintenance of my home over the last 25 years! The only reason I decided to remodel my home was to “update the look" not because I “needed to” for structural reasons!! I’ve always been able to count on the Maintenenace Department of Structural Associates to address my concerns promptly - no matter what the size of the problem may be. The Maintenance team is always available by phone or email or messaging and if they can’t solve the problem they know exactly whom to contact from their vast experience of constructions/maintenance in the RFV. More often than not there’s someone from the maintenance team in the vicinity so the response is immediate!

> Structural Associates (SA) has been our builder for the last five years. They built our home, our barns and helped us renovate two cabins on our ranch. They are professional, user friendly and provide excellent service after the build. We continue to use SA for our routine maintenance on all buildings.

**★★★★★ — James Rifkin, Oct. 2017**

> My relationship with Structural Associates spans more than 15 years from the initial groundbreaking of our home to the current maintenance. In that time period, the quality of service and reliability has never varied. I would highly recommend Structural Associates for any building project or home maintenance.

**★★★★ — Modern Kitchen Center, Sept. 2017**

> It is a delight to work with a professional general contractor of this caliber. Attention to the many details that occur- goes a long way when working on high end projects that Structural Associates tends to be involved with.

**★★★★★ — Architectural Windows & Doors, Sept. 2017**

> Our company has worked on many projects with Structural Associates over the last 18 years. We have found that they work diligently on the front end of projects to see that all goes well through the process of building a new home or addition. They are very knowledgeable and especially place high regard to detail. Architectural Windows and Doors would highly recommend Structural Associates to build your new home or addition.

> Be very careful when dealing with this contractor. I have been involved with several builders in the Aspen area on various projects ranging from 1,000,000 to 4,000,000 in scope. I had a horrendous experience and would not recommend them. I hired them to complete a bid proposal for my house. I was supposed to receive funds back if the numbers they came up with were too high. Structural ended up putting a material amount of the cost outside of the budget so the building cost would be lower and thus they would keep the money I had paid them. If a sizable builder, like Structural, is going to act like this on a small matter I would be very nervous to use them for a big project.

> Amazing attention to detail. These guys are responsive and patient. We are building two riverfront homes here in Colorado and I'm thrilled to have picked Structural Associates for our job.

**Q: Hello- Who was the architect on this job? Thanks!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi there. The architect on this project was Lipkin-Warner Design & Planning.

**Q: cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

Are the cabinets clear stain rift cut white oak? Or another species/stain? Beautiful kitchen! I love how light it is without being white.

A: Thank you! The cabinets are a rift sawn white oak. The material was bleached (oxalic acid), neutralized and then it was top-coated with AquaLux (a water based conversion varnish). If you use any oil finish, the material will turn yellow or amber.

**Q: I love this fireplace. Can you tell me where you purchased the wood?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Hi there,
The re-claimed material for the fireplace surround was sourced through, and installed by, Colorado Architectural Millworks. http://coloams.com/

The rustic material is reclaimed hardwoods and can be found through many vendors throughout the country. SA has located similar material through Distinguished Boards & Beams in Carbondale, CO. http://www.reclaimedbarnwood.com/
