His attention to detail and finishes is above and beyond. We were keen on avoiding box store finishes and Gene was very willing to help us secure options within our budget. > I've worked with Gene for two major projects now. First was our kitchen reno back in 2015. He designed everything and coordinated all the contractors, and acted as project manager throughout the whole thing. He was very meticulous and demanded perfection from the contractors. I'm sure the contractors were not happy with him, but as clients it was great to have someone advocating for us and making sure no corners were cut.
> The second project was a full exterior stucco replacement + porch and deck build + new windows. We did this one in 2017. Again, Gene coordinated everything with the contractors, handled all the city permits etc., and basically made the whole process as painless as possible for us.
