**★ — Chad Afanador, Nov. 2025**

> This company is a mess. We did a major renovation and addition with them and it is the greatest regret of our life to date. The leader designed our addition without measuring the roof obstructions, causing major delays and eventually mold in our garage walls. This was just the first of a series of major mistakes. They did correct a bunch of these mistakes, but tried to gaslight us into thinking they were doing us a favor by correcting the mistakes.
>
> One of our favorite people quit during our project, and a person who actively tried to sabotage our project (I know that sounds crazy), quit or was fired early in our renovation. The leadership is so clueless as to what is happening in this company, that I am sure the boss John, still does not know what happened during this project.
>
> The countertops were not sealed, the cabinets were installed way too early, and sustained major damage after installation. We still have problems to this day. I have never been involved in any lawsuit, but we did threaten to sue them, and my wife and I both independently shopped for lawyers (and retained one) at different times in the process.
>
> The accounting is so bad, none of their own numbers ever matched up. They demanded major payments early for no reason, and the computer program that they said would show progress, payments, etc. never worked.
>
> They over promise, and cannot deliver. They will tell you you will get something in the remodel, not provide it, and then charge you to add it back in. We still debate if this was a con, or just complete incompetence.
>
> Some of the work was good, but the management is so toxic, this company could never be successful.

**Comment from H&H Builders LLC:**

> Dear Chad,
> We’re truly sorry to hear that you’re disappointed with your recent kitchen and bathroom renovation. At H&H, our goal is always to provide quality craftsmanship and transparent communication, and we take your feedback seriously.
> Regarding the concerns you mentioned:
> •Mold Mitigation: Before the project began, our team documented the presence of existing mold. Even so, we chose to have it professionally mitigated at no cost to you to ensure a safe and complete renovation.
> •Project Management: During the course of your project, our production leadership transitioned, and we made sure there was no interruption to your renovation. We remained in regular communication with you throughout, holding weekly meetings to address updates and questions.
> •Pricing Clarifications: We recognize that there was some confusion regarding the pricing of your design selections. Once identified, the issue was corrected, and you were provided with the original receipts for verification.
> •Warranty and Follow-Up: Your project is covered under our two-year workmanship warranty. You were notified of your warranty, it's expiration date, and how to request work in a letter mailed to you at the end of your project. If you are experiencing any issues with your countertops or cabinets, please reach out to our Office Manager so that we can promptly schedule an inspection and repairs if necessary.
> •Additional Work: Several items were provided at no additional charge as part of our commitment to your satisfaction, including a glass shower door and bathroom sinks.
> We appreciate the opportunity to have worked on your home and genuinely regret that parts of the process did not meet your expectations. We remain committed to ensuring that every client is happy with their finished project and would welcome the chance to resolve any remaining concerns directly.

> H&H was great to work with! Incredibly reliable. They were very up-front about cost and challenges of the project. We are so happy with the work they did. And they have been available for follow-up for any questions, concerns, and little things that have come up since they finished the work.

**★★★★★ — Dan Hayward, Sept. 2019**

> Brian and his team at H&H Builders are top notch!! From start to finish they provided outstanding service and quality work on our 1896 Victorian in the Baker Neighborhood in Denver. We were impressed with their knowledge of expertise and they exceeded our expectations throughout the entire process.
> We would highly recommend them for your project!

> I would like to this opportunity to introduce you to an amazing builder, H&H Builders, LLC who transformed my 1947 brick ranch (just over a whopping 1,000 square feet) into the home of my dreams. As most older homes are, there was space, but not in the right place, I had a tiny galley kitchen and there was not an “open” feel to the layout at all. So, I took the big leap and decided to have my tiny home get a big makeover and began my search at the 2018 Colorado Home Show (the very last day of the show!) for a builder that could take the ideas in my head and translate those into my dream home. So here is how it all started…..
> My initial meeting with Brian Robinson, the owner of H&H, started with what I was hoping to achieve with a remodel. At that point, the only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted an open concept, with a real mud room and to turn my galley kitchen into the heart of my home with room to really cook and have a nook for a table where guests could actually sit and enjoy a meal. I have to say, for quite some time my entire house was a “mudroom!” Before the start of the remodel, Brian brought in the entire team who would be working in my home and had them involved from day one. I really appreciated meeting all of them before the work started. I lived in my home during the entire remodel, including the demolition phase, now that was an experience all in itself. Lead Carpenter, Jose Dominguez, made sure I was secure in my home each day which was important to me. He kept me apprised of the upcoming schedule of work so I could plan ahead. Given the amount of construction going on, they kept the house neat and clean during the entire phase of the remodel.
> The kitchen and bath designer, Jennifer Trujillo, helped me maneuver through the process of picking out my dream home. Thank heavens for Jennifer! I wasn’t always clear on what I actually wanted, but after listening to me, and getting to know me as a person, she had a good understanding of what I wanted to achieve and then she directed me in selecting “my style.” I’m not someone who had ever thought much about materials, textures, colors, functionality, lighting, the list goes on and on, but she navigated me through all those important details with the patience of a saint. Jennifer expanded my vision and showed me options that I had not even thought of on my own that have truly made my dream kitchen beautiful and functional. She incorporated portions of the original house into the remodel such as using the outside brick wall as the backdrop for the stove and counters on one side of the kitchen. I love that touch, it looks fabulous. Jennifer is someone you can relate to, she is down to earth and really cares about her clients. Here is an example of how Jennifer brings that “special touch” to the remodels she does. I had selected a light fixture and after it was installed in my nook area, she later came into my home and said, “I’m not lovin' it” and she brought in another light fixture to replace the original one and it made all the difference in the room. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her, and I honestly could not have experienced this process without Jennifer. It was such a positive experience. I’ve always wanted a kitchen and nook that opened up into my living room space. There were also a few more walls that needed to be removed to achieve the openness that brought in a lot more natural light into the home.
> My home turned out as beautiful as it was promised to me, the craftmanship is truly impressive. If you are wanting the kitchen of your dreams, plus more, I highly recommend H&H Builders to you. Be sure to work with the dream team - Brian, Jennifer and Jose - they really can make your dreams come true!

The two tone cabinetry offers warmth and texture while the Shaker style doors keep clean lines throughout the space.
