> I did not have the experience of building with Swanson, but I did purchase one of their model homes and it was top quality.  The finishes were high end, and the finishing touches were impeccable.  They were extremely prompt and accommodating with any issues for the first year (and after) of owning the home and even helped me find contractors for small jobs that I wanted done to update the home further since I wasn't part of the selection process.  I am now building a new home in another state and really wish I could use Swanson homes - they have the custom home down.  I am trying to recreate my old home, and Swanson has been helping me cross country to find the suppliers!  If you want a high end home, use a high end builder like Swanson.  I am learning the hard way that other builders cannot reproduce the Swanson quality.
