It was gorgeous...but there were burn marks on all the electrical outlets, only one bathroom, and the last time anyone had done any real work on the place was maybe 1972. We hired them to completely remodel and reconfigure the interior of our Rio Del Mar beach cottage and repair and renew the exterior. It was a large project and it was completed with great consideration for our property and beautiful results. The quality of the workmanship and finished project was above our expectations! The employees were all very professional and kept us informed of each step of the project with a wonderful computer program. Since we were not in the area it was so nice to have this communication and photos of the progress. Dave managed the ordering and scheduling, he was very easy to work with and a excellent communicator. Steve has such high standards for his projects that we soon learned he would give us good options and quality results. Steve gave us many custom design features that we hadn't even imagined possible. John was the main carpenter and he was very talented and skilled in his trade. We met most of the sub contractors they used and found them all to be talented in their field of expertise. All of them had worked with the Hansmann for many years. Our finished remodel has resulted in such a beautiful home that we are delighted and our family will enjoy the new "cottage" for many years as our retreat and special place.
