I called Matthew and he answered right away. He actually came by my house same day on his way to another job and looked at what needed to be done. Most people wouldn't have even looked at this job because it was so small. But Matthew offered me a time the very next day that worked for both of us. He came on time, was dressed nicely, was friendly and very professional. He did a nice job quickly and was on his way. The mortar was cracking and some of the bricks were falling apart. I was not sure what all would be needed to make it look like new or how much it would cost, but Matt (the owner of NW Cutting Edge Masonry) knew just what to do and the best part was that it was within my price range. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Matt was super good about communicating. He kept me informed by email and always emailed me back right away. They did a really nice job and came in under their estimate (which already was less than the other estimates I had received). They got the job done soon after they bid it and it took less time than expected. They were very professional, kept everything neat and tidy, and it looks great! They were very prompt and really made it all very easy. They are in Mill Creek, but didn't hesitate to take our job in Enumclaw. I have since recommended them to several other people. I did not realize when I started looking and asking around how hard it was to find people dedicated to doing good brick masonry work.
